Lots of restaurants, coffee joints, rooftop music, the pier is a beautiful walk. Coming here since 1994, gets improved yearly. Miss the Pompano Beach Seafood Festival on the actual beach.

5 /5 Martha Schott: This is a great public pier and free to visitors. Wide, sturdy and well-kept. Great views. Covered and open seating available. Loved watching the pelicans who hang around the people who are fishing. Its a flurry of pelican activity when someone has a catch.

5 /5 Jennifer Brooks: Such a beautiful place. We had a nice time enjoying the walk by the beach. There was a nice sized playground. It looks pretty new and lots of kids playing out there. Then you get to the pier and you can go out and walk free of charge or you can buy rods to fish for about $30 you get a bucket, rod, hooks bait and bucket. The bucket has a towel and knife to gut a fish. We are not pro fishers and we caught a fish. It was pretty fun. Lots of birds out there trying to catch your bait so be careful! Also theyre are plenty of restaurants and ice cream shops near by. We will definitely be back. You do have to pay for parking. Paybyphone.

5 /5 John Mcdaniel: Pompano Beach beach and pier are the golden jewel of the town. They have a wonderful walkway and the pier is the best in south Florida. The beach is wide and lots of room for the family. There are plenty of facilities/ restrooms, restaurants and a few shopping beach wear stores. This is definitely worth a day visit for a day at the beach, a stroll on the the beach walk, a meal at the many restaurants or sitting and people watching. While there are many wonderful restaurants with great food you have to stop at the Briny Irish Pub. This pub has great food, but gives you not only a tourist welcome, but a feel of hometown Pompano Beach!

Hillsboro Lighthouse Museum - Pompano Beach Chris Rehberg: Finding this museum was a very pleasant surprise! I wish we had been able to take a tour of the lighthouse, but we will have to catch that opportunity on the next trip. Seeing all of the historical photos and how the appearance of the inlet has changed over the years was very nostalgic. This is a great place to visit, especially if you are a local!

Beach at Pompano Beach - Pompano Beach L S: Beautiful! We went on a weekday so it wasn’t very busy but we enjoyed the shopping and dining areas that lined the main beach access.

Butterfly World - Coconut Creek Bruce Clifford: We had an amazing experience at Butterfly world. The area is well kept and you can tell the butterflies, birds and plants are all thriving. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. We took our grandson for the first time and he was really in awe of all of the beautiful colors and wildlife. Its so nice to have this experience so close to our home.

Pompano Community Park - Pompano Beach Sophia Madison Garcia: It’s a great little park with plenty of outdoor activities for the whole community to enjoy. I always feel safe when I’m out there, whether I’m walking around or just relaxing. Navigating the park can be a bit tricky, and the pebble paths are kind of scattered with loose rocks, but I still find myself visiting often. The lighting at night could definitely use a boost, but with so many folks out and about in the evenings, it still feels pretty comfortable. Overall, it’s a solid spot to get some fresh air and stretch your legs in true Florida fashion.
