5 /5 Amy Hall: This is a beautiful place to visit. We didnt have time to go thru it all but I wish we had. I love seeing historical places and learning about the past. I highly recommend making this one of your stops! If you are like me, you can also add the stamp to your passport book for national historic sites

5 /5 Brandon Young: What a cool place! We took our family here to break up our beach days and it was a perfect little adventure. Our kids enjoyed learning about lighthouses and the history of this lighthouse as there was plenty of fun information for both kids and adults here. As others have mentioned, the view at the top is awesome. It was very windy and I almost lost my heart so just be aware of that. We probably spent a total of almost 2 hours here. The staff was very friendly and the send guided your was great.

5 /5 Michi Mermaid (Guardian of The Springs): This is such a cool and neat place to stop by. The village is awesome to explore and learn so much about the history of the lighthouse and its keepers. Definitely a neat place to come with the family. The lighthouse has 203 steps and the view from above is epic! Only costs $12 to get in and enjoy the entire village. They also have a really diverse little gift shop where you can get all kinds of goodies and gifts.

5 /5 Christi Brown: I have been twice to this lighthouse. It is the tallest in the state of Florida, and second largest in the US. The grounds are kept immaculate, there are plenty of sights to see on the grounds and spend a good few hours there. The history is well preserved, showcased and well written. There are no food or drinks allowed once inside the premises, however you can step back to your vehicle for a sip if needed. They have a fantastic gift shop as well. If youre in the area, its certainly worth it.

5 /5 Zachary Frieben: Came here on our annual family vacation. My sister-in-law really wanted to see this Lighthouse. Im glad, it was so cool! Its a beautiful, very tall Lighthouse with an awesome history and a wonderful view from the top. Get ready though, its over 200 steps! Its amazing how much history Florida has. The gift shop is also really good! Much less gimmicky than other shops. And you can get a certificate for climbing the Lighthouse.

Dunlawton Sugar Mill Gardens - Port Orange Lori Leung: A lot of paths to walk and the old sugar mill was interesting to see. They had an area that had dinosaur models, but were very old and didn’t look like what a dinosaur would look like, kind of like what you would see in a cartoon, but I guess a child wouldn’t mind seeing it. They have restrooms available that were very clean. It was a nice walk, but hot, humid and it started to pour down rain with lightning and thunder. Glad we had umbrellas and made it back to the car. Probably better to go in the winter months for a quiet walk. Some plants did not have a sign saying what we were looking at on the trails.

GameTime Daytona - Daytona Beach Jake Thomas: The food here is decent. Just be aware that they will charge you gratuity without letting you know beforehand. The $10 Buck Tuesday deal is worth it, and the arcade selection is huge. We easily spent 2 hours here without realizing it. Would recommend.

Extremely kind and friendly. Austin gave me the briefing and made sure I was good to go. Track was fun and challenging. After the first race chilling waiting for the next race, Mario stopped by to ask how we were doing and if we needed anything. Entire staff is friendly and helpful. Just a great environment and of course the carts and track are a blast. Waiting for race two! Need to beat my son’s time or I’ll hear about it the entire weekend

Lighthouse Point Park - Ponce Inlet Raina Carrero: We love this park! Fabulous for kids, great place to clean up and restrooms. Dale, the employee there cleaning and locking up, was so kind, he even offered to help us carry our stuff while my husband was carrying our 2 kids. Such a nice guy!

Birthplace of Speed Park - Ormond Beach Ryan Brown: Nice little park with good picnic tables. We parked on E Granada street. Did not go down to the beach because we were just stopping for lunch on our way down to the Keys. They are doing construction and the light to leave never turned green. Had to turn right and do a U turn.

The Manatee - Scenic Boat Tours & Dolphin Cruise - Daytona Beach Soda Pop: This was a great experience to share with our 17 year old daughter who was visiting from out of State. It was chilly, but we had the option of sitting inside which was a great luxury over other boat tours. She loved seeing the dolphins. I cant say thank you enough to the owners who graciously agreed to allow us to move our reservation after my daughter got food poisoning only an hour before we were supposed to leave the dock! Ugh. Thank you again!

Cathedral Of Palms Trail - Barton Cooper: This is a really cool trail. There are multiple different Florida eco environments on the trail with lots to see. If it is during the wet season then you will need to skirt the wet areas which can be a bit complicated. The spring is cool and worth seeing. Some of it is on forest roads which were ok but not trails.

Cherokee Sink Trail - Christie Lancaster: The amazing beauty of this place seems to be fading, people please pack it out, pack it in. Its a true gem in the history of Florida. An oasis like no other. Lets keep it that way, its a well kept secret and I pray it stays that way. I wouldnt go after dark, and watch closely in the day. You see ....Its also very haunted, history states.
