What Clients Are Saying about Public Beach Access 23 (on GG)
5 /5 Ashleigh Grayson: Easy parking and not far from beach/ shipwreck island
4 /5 Heather Dievendorff: Great public access to the beach. Make sure you park in the parking lot as there is no street parking. Walked here every morning while on vacation and spent 3 hours here on Sunday with my granddaughter.
5 /5 Robert Ellis III: This is just a public beach access point to enjoy the beautiful white sand beach of Panama City Beach. There is a small, free, public parking lot nearby.
5 /5 Igor Laya: Beautiful beach
5 /5 Jasmine Pearcey: Loved the area, just not sure where the bathrooms were if there are any. Parked right across the street from the entrance with no issues and there are probably no crowds after labor day. Loved it and cant wait to go back!
H G Harders Recreation Complex - Panama CityValerie Lisenby-Elore: I love to take my grands here on the weekends. There are several catch and release ponds, fields to run and play in, numerous walking trails, and several playgrounds for the Littles. They have seasonal events, also, and it is clean and well kept. We LOVE Harders Park.
The Scream Machine - Panama City BeachJoshua Esco: This is an awesome ride!!! There were five of us and four others. Captain was able to put us on some dolphins then we went for the fun, fish tales and several 360s. We were all soaked and loving it. Will be back on our next beach trip for sure. Would definitely have a towel in the car for when you get back!
Sea Screamer - Panama City BeachAnthony Cioffi: So, Cody the Capt. And the deck hand Monty.. the best ride of our lives. We trust them with our lives and come back every year. If you want to go and hang out with family or a date, this is the place. The regular tour is good. The sunset is also good. They are the best family ran establishment in the land on the coast of PCB. 10 out of 10 guys. Keep this up.
Dolphin & Snorkeling Tours Panama City Beach - Panama CityJustin Owings: Lorraine took my family of 5 out on a 6 hour private charter this past week, and all my kids (9, 13, 15) said it was a highlight of their spring break. A few highlights of this outing:
• Lorraine put us on a couple pods of dolphins almost as soon as we got in the boat — they were all over the place, including a baby dolphin (we think it was actually two very young dolphins in the pods). They were going around our boat and under it and this went on for a long long time before we decided to move on with our adventure.
• We also saw a big ol’ sea turtle for a hot minute! (See photo)
• Lorraine took us to an area for some shallow snorkeling — which was appreciated because the water was a cool 71°F (it’s early April). Still a few of us braved the snorkeling. Saw a few fish, literally stepping on a flounder on accident (and saw another one). Saw starfish and sand dollars near Shell Island.
• Got to go on Shell Island and walk the beach look for shells. Loved this as we were there in the afternoon when there was no one else on the island. Amazing.
• Ended our day with a sunset trip back to where we’d seen the dolphins earlier in the day and …. They were back! See the photos for a glimpse of how incredible this was — seeing dolphins and a beautiful sunset. What an experience!
Lorraine was a fantastic captain the entire time, helping us enjoy our time, providing insights about the wildlife and area, and giving us things to try (like SUP boarding).
Would definitely recommend anyone take the private charter! Well worth the experience and memories.
M.B. Miller County Pier - Panama City BeachLacie Lawson: I visited MB Miller Pier early in the morning—around 4:55 AM—and while I knew I wouldn’t catch the actual sunrise, the experience was still nothing short of magical. I had the beach entirely to myself at that hour, and the peaceful solitude made for the perfect start to the day. The sound of the waves, the soft early light, and a small storm brewing on the horizon made for an incredible and dramatic view of the clouds rolling in.
Parking was stress-free and reasonably priced—just $8 for 4 hours with a $0.30 convenience fee using the Passport app. Super convenient! The pier is located right across the street from Sunsations and within a short drive of several great restaurants, which makes it a central and easy stop if youre exploring the area.
The beach access is effortless, and the pier provides not just incredible views, but also a bit of shade if you need a break from the sun. Before heading out, the rinse stations near the exit are a thoughtful touch—no need to drag half the beach back to your car.
If you’re looking for a quiet moment or some of the best beachfront views in Panama City Beach, I highly recommend arriving early. MB Miller Pier is peaceful, beautiful, and well-maintained—a perfect coastal escape.
Gulf World Marine Park - Panama City BeachTravis Mills: We really enjoyed our time at Gulf World. Many really cool animals and neat experiences. Only negatives I would say is, it’s a little confusing finding your way to each spot and making it to each show/presentation of the animal exhibits. We enjoyed the birds, Petting stingrays, the penguin and sea turtle experience, but the dolphin show was definitely the best!
Axe Throwing Pier Park - Panama City Beachkr8ziegrl: Rosean greeted us with a smile when we walked in! He made sure that all 5 people in our group knew and felt comfortable throwing the axe, I highly recommend visiting Axe Throwing Pier Park with Rosean!! :)
Cubby Caboose Mini Express - Panama City BeachPamela B: A little something for the kiddos in Pier Park. It takes them for a short ride around the park, blowing bubbles. The "conductor" wasnt very interactive and kind of standoffish. Kids three feet and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. It is $11 for a ride. But my two little ones enjoyed it so I was happy.
