5 /5 Lacie Lawson: I visited MB Miller Pier early in the morning—around 4:55 AM—and while I knew I wouldn’t catch the actual sunrise, the experience was still nothing short of magical. I had the beach entirely to myself at that hour, and the peaceful solitude made for the perfect start to the day. The sound of the waves, the soft early light, and a small storm brewing on the horizon made for an incredible and dramatic view of the clouds rolling in.
Parking was stress-free and reasonably priced—just $8 for 4 hours with a $0.30 convenience fee using the Passport app. Super convenient! The pier is located right across the street from Sunsations and within a short drive of several great restaurants, which makes it a central and easy stop if youre exploring the area.
The beach access is effortless, and the pier provides not just incredible views, but also a bit of shade if you need a break from the sun. Before heading out, the rinse stations near the exit are a thoughtful touch—no need to drag half the beach back to your car.
If you’re looking for a quiet moment or some of the best beachfront views in Panama City Beach, I highly recommend arriving early. MB Miller Pier is peaceful, beautiful, and well-maintained—a perfect coastal escape.
