1 /5 Elizabeth Greathouse: Had a dental cleaning with a hygienist that was new to me. He did not introduce himself and while he was polite, his cleaning was very rough. From the initial scan where he kept jamming the probe into my mouth and pinching my lip against my teeth to the painful way in which he cleaned my teeth, it was an unpleasant experience. He even said to me at the end, I noticed you flexing your arm and moving a lot, I responded with yes because it was painful. No apology, no asking what part was painful, no asking what could be done different. I was going to express my concerns with the receptionist on the way out of the office but the hygienist closed out my bill so there was no opportunity. I hope that he is new and still learning how to improve his skills or maybe just having an off day but I will not allow him to do my cleanings in the future. I have been a patient in this office for more than 20 years but with all the recent changes, I am strongly considering leaving the practice.
