The Hygienist Isabel has skill control over the instruments/tools that were utilized during my visit. I left completely dry, and no discomfort. Catalina Dayrit Staff are all nice and accommodating. Sonia, the dental technician who attended to me is so kind and very patient, very knowledgeable of what she is doing. While cleaning, she keeps on asking how am I doing, is everything alright. She reiterated to me the instructions she gave me before on how to clean my teeth to avoid any gum problem. Erin Elmore Just dont do it. Unprofessional and no regard to your time. I made an appointment a little over 3 weeks ago as a new patient. Yesterday, I was called (one day prior to my appointment , which would have been today) and was left a voicemail saying that they had to cancel my appointment due to me never confirming the appointment ??? I was very perplexed given that I had never received a call, text or email or any sort of confirmation for that matter. I called them to figure out why this happened since I had taken a half to day from work and arranged someone to pick up my children after school to be there. Like I said this was arranged THREE WEEKS ago to accommodate my busy schedule. When I spoke to the woman she told me "they had a dental hygienist no longer with the practice so they couldnt accommodate my appointment any more due to lack of hygienists." So THAT was why my appointment was being moved. I understand things happen..however, I thought it was incredibly unprofessional to leave on my voicemail a completely bogus reason trying to place the blame on me for not confirming when it was on them for being short staffed. Thankfully., I did some research and found some other dental offices in network that could see me a lot sooner and seemed WAY more professional than this practice. Its shame they are so new and close to the area but cant keep staff or new patients. Its a terrible reflection of management and Im just glad they never had the opportunity to touch my teeth.

Jocelyn Rajkowski Dont go here if you have drill anxiety. Dentist barely even waited 2 or 3 minutes for the anesthetic to work before he started drilling. I asked for gas and they wouldnt let me hold the mask on my nose like every other previous dentist would, so the gas didnt work when I really needed it. Extremely rude hygienist at next station interfered and told me I was "way too giggly." The best part? I was on full display. Entire office can see me even though they have private rooms. I will never go back there even if it was free.

D wilson First of all, we changed Dentist because our Dentist doesn’t answer the phone This group answers the phone. They are absolutely amazing. It was our first time we showed up early to do the paperwork. Everything was nice and smooth. We got back on time not only did he do the evaluation, but he was able to actually repair the tooth the exact same day me and my daughter are totally grateful. We are getting our x-rays and moving to this Dentist because we appreciate and love them so much. They are fabulous.

I always hate the nova cane your mouth aches for several days. But todays shot didn’t hit at all and there is no pain after it wares off.

Elizabeth Greathouse Had a dental cleaning with a hygienist that was new to me. He did not introduce himself and while he was polite, his cleaning was very rough. From the initial scan where he kept jamming the probe into my mouth and pinching my lip against my teeth to the painful way in which he cleaned my teeth, it was an unpleasant experience. He even said to me at the end, I noticed you flexing your arm and moving a lot, I responded with yes because it was painful. No apology, no asking what part was painful, no asking what could be done different. I was going to express my concerns with the receptionist on the way out of the office but the hygienist closed out my bill so there was no opportunity. I hope that he is new and still learning how to improve his skills or maybe just having an off day but I will not allow him to do my cleanings in the future. I have been a patient in this office for more than 20 years but with all the recent changes, I am strongly considering leaving the practice.

Natalie Thurlow The pediatrics side of this office is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. I brought my daughter here around the time she turned 3. The first two visits went okay, but her third visit was less than pleasant after she had to get x-rays which we were not prepared for and it ended with my child screaming because I was not allowed near her and she didnt know what to expect. The assistant was rude and shooed me away after another assistant said I could be with my daughter. Then we had to come back in to get a filling and sealants. This visit was disorganized and poorly handled from beginning to end. They provided me with a treatment plan and cost estimate that I now know did not account for the entire cost. What we thought was going to be $60 was going to end up being over $500 with laughing gas and if we went ahead with the sealants. There was no communication about this prior to the appointment in the treatment plan. I realize insurance determines the cost but the provider did not give me an accurate estimate until my daughter was already sitting in the treatment room without me. They also had the wrong treatment plan on her chart, and they took me to the front desk to get a new one, to which the front desk said I didnt need to be there and they would bring it to us (they never did). Additionally, I was not allowed to go back to the treatment room with my daughter, which again, we were not prepared for. She is only 4 years old, sensitive, and never had a filling before. It wouldve been nice to have a heads up before the appointment. Not only that, she was left completely alone for several minutes while they were trying to get the correct treatment plan. I didnt realize this until later. Eventually I was allowed to sit around the corner where I could hear her because I asked again if I could, telling them that it is her first filling. I can swallow having to let her go back without me, but leaving a small child completely unattended while they took me to a totally different area in the office to sort out their paperwork mistake is unacceptable. My daughter also said that the TV in the room was playing the news, so comforting for a child right? After the filling was done, they decided not to do the sealants because daughter started to get upset, and they acted like it was weird that she didnt like being poked and prodded in her mouth. If your child is highly sensitive, I certainly wouldnt bring them to this practice. Their bedside manner is horrible. Youd think they never dealt with children before. We will not be going back.

Alissa Searcy Dr. Cross has wonderful bedside manner, and knowledge. Recently, Dr. Cross did a 3-tooth perm bridge procedure. The intense drilling was necessary, but it was tedious & long appts. I wish there was option of nitrous oxide, but its not available here. I have more drilling procedures ahead, and going to a provider who does offer nitrous oxide. Otherwise, I am very happy with the perm bridge. Dr. Cross is a great dentist and friendly person as well. I highly recommend him.

He explained things and made me feel that he would take care of my issue. He told me to be 100% confident who I want to do procedure and get as many consultations as I need and if I choose this office they would take good care of me.

He reviewed my X-rays with me and turns out I only had two cavities. He even showed me exactly where they were on the X-rays and took a picture for me to see, which the other office never did. The dentist took maybe 4 seconds to check my teeth and didn’t really check the areas I said were sensitive. This franchise should do a better job with communication. I was originally scheduled for a day the office was closed and the rescheduling process had to be done in person due to lack of phone communication and availability of staff!
