5 /5 James Keeling: I am relatively new to Sarasota/Bradenton and have been trying several new churches to attend. Today was our (my wife, my granddaughter, and me) first visit to Riverlife Church. We went to the 11:30 service on March 30. On the outside, the area and church property look nice. Inside seems well kept and clean. We were warmly greeted by a few people. We made our way into the sanctuary, and it was inviting as well. It was also clean and nice, but not overdone. I got a good feeling in there. When the worship music started, it was soft and easy. They played a few songs, and I enjoyed my worship time. The last song had a young woman solo, and she had a beautiful voice. After video announcements and a welcome from a pleasant young man, the pastor came up to preach. He spoke of Daniel with Shadrach, Mesach, and Abednego and the fiery furnace. He did a fine job and related it to us in the present. After closing, he ended with prayer. Overall, it was a special time, and we certainly will be giving Riverlife another look. We have now visited several churches and will soon decide on a new home church, and Riverlife could very well be where we land!
