5 /5 Gordon and Dora Mae Slocum: We love Sanford Bible Church. Solid Biblical Teaching is rare today. How a local body of believers, “Local Church,” reads, studies, and explains the Scripture is of utmost importance to us. The Bible clearly, over and over again, instructs us to read, study, meditate, and memorize it so that the information, instructions, and guidelines are clear in our thinking so that we may live by them daily. SBC’s approach to this end is doing just that. Approaching God’s word in a normal, literal, grammatical, and historical context is a must for us, and SBC meets that high standard. Our God has given us a book, the Bible, so that we may know Him, trust in Him, and follow Him all the days of our earthly life. We are blessed to have a local church to fellowship with, like Sanford Bible Church.
