Sunshine Family Dentistry - Lake Placid (FL)

2 /5 Laz Domenech: Just called to make an appointment as I just permanently moved to Lake Placid. Told the person that I needed a tooth pulled, they placed me on hold and came back to tell me they dont accept any insurance. Im not sure how that works but Ive never heard of a dentist that doesnt take insurance. Didnt give a lower star because I havent gone there for service but I guess I will be driving to Broward to have work done. I was recommended this place and it looks like they only take cash patients?

5 /5 PJ C: I read many reviews before going here and what a relief that all of the 5 star comments are really true! Its obvious from when you first set foot in the office that they take great pride in their business and patients. The entire place was spotless, all of the employees were extremely nice and helpful. I saw Dr. Veronee after a traumatic fall 2 months ago. Going to the dentist for me is usually traumatic in itself but I was immediately put at ease. The doctor couldnt have been more thorough in his exam and went out of his way to explain everything in detail. He also gave me a few options to consider and made sure I wasnt left with any questions to the visit or future treatments. While my treatment is not over, I feel a lot of relief from my visit knowing that Im in good hands. I rarely do reviews but when a place stands out like this its well worth the time to do. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Sunshine Dental.

5 /5 Dana Ceresia: I was left hanging by Designer Dental. I had a broken tooth and then it absessed. Dr Leslie Celestinas office called and cancelled my broken tooth removal. I was in a lot of pain and needed an antibiotic. Designer Dental told me to call with my pharmacy of choice which I did and it was never sent over. Office hrs were until 5 and at 3:30 the doors were locked and no lights inside. Called the emergency number and now 3.5 hrs later no response. I googled dentists in my area and Sunshine Family Dentistry was listed. Called them and within 1.5 hrs u was on my way back home with broken tooth removed. Thank you so very much Dr Oxer. You and your staff were amazing!!! I will recommended everyone to you. I already called Designer Dental and cancelled my husbands cleaning for Monday and I wanted our latest xrays.

5 /5 katie jones: I am visiting from out of state and needed to see a dentist for an emergency appointment. They got me in within an hour and were very friendly. I am terrified of dentists and can say that Dr Oxer and his staff went above and beyond to make it a pleasant experience. I have very minimal pain now after my tooth extraction and am shocked how painless everything was. I cannot recommend this dentist enough.

5 /5 Kathy Crow: 2 years ago I had an impacted tooth. We didnt have a dentist here and at 7:50 a.m. on a Monday I called. Tedra answered the phone and told me to get there as soon as I could. Dr. Oxer saw me and got me started on antibiotics and EVEN CALLED a day or so later to check on me. We have had several major dental things done since, along with cleanings with Lauren. Both doctors and staff are friendly and go above and beyond. Love them all! Have used them ever since and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist office.
