Sperry Russ I broke a wisdom tooth and my Dentist referred me to Dr Celestina. I have had tooth extractions before that always was very uncomfortable. I was nervous as usual in a Dentist chair. But he was very kind and told me in steps what he was doing. The tooth was extracted so quickly, with no pain. He said "its out" before I even realized it was done. I highly recommend him.

Melody Cramer The office has private patient rooms which is amazing. Dr Celistina is very kind and gentle. His staff is prompt and courteous. I had no insurance and they did not overcharge me. I had the best dental experience Ive ever had with Dr. Celestina. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Ramona Rivera Went for a tooth extraction. I was nervous, and scared. The staff was very prompt and professional. Dr Celestina was very personal, has a very calm demeanor, explained everything and listened to my fears and answered my questions. I have had other teeth out and the experience only made my fear and nervousness greater and like many others seek a different dentist the next time I needed another tooth out. I have found the one and only oral surgeon I will ever go back to. The extraction was quick and I was kept comfortable through the process. Thank you Dr. Celestina and staff for excellent service.

Laz Domenech Just called to make an appointment as I just permanently moved to Lake Placid. Told the person that I needed a tooth pulled, they placed me on hold and came back to tell me they dont accept any insurance. Im not sure how that works but Ive never heard of a dentist that doesnt take insurance. Didnt give a lower star because I havent gone there for service but I guess I will be driving to Broward to have work done. I was recommended this place and it looks like they only take cash patients?

PJ C I read many reviews before going here and what a relief that all of the 5 star comments are really true! Its obvious from when you first set foot in the office that they take great pride in their business and patients. The entire place was spotless, all of the employees were extremely nice and helpful. I saw Dr. Veronee after a traumatic fall 2 months ago. Going to the dentist for me is usually traumatic in itself but I was immediately put at ease. The doctor couldnt have been more thorough in his exam and went out of his way to explain everything in detail. He also gave me a few options to consider and made sure I wasnt left with any questions to the visit or future treatments. While my treatment is not over, I feel a lot of relief from my visit knowing that Im in good hands. I rarely do reviews but when a place stands out like this its well worth the time to do. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Sunshine Dental.

Dana Ceresia I was left hanging by Designer Dental. I had a broken tooth and then it absessed. Dr Leslie Celestinas office called and cancelled my broken tooth removal. I was in a lot of pain and needed an antibiotic. Designer Dental told me to call with my pharmacy of choice which I did and it was never sent over. Office hrs were until 5 and at 3:30 the doors were locked and no lights inside. Called the emergency number and now 3.5 hrs later no response. I googled dentists in my area and Sunshine Family Dentistry was listed. Called them and within 1.5 hrs u was on my way back home with broken tooth removed. Thank you so very much Dr Oxer. You and your staff were amazing!!! I will recommended everyone to you. I already called Designer Dental and cancelled my husbands cleaning for Monday and I wanted our latest xrays.

Amy Mccament They wouldnt even help my son with his exposed nurve . They are only out for the money. They do not honor there oath to help all who are in serious pain or condition when there the only option around and now my son has lost all hope and they left him in dispair.

Democracy Paradox Everything was great until I got my third bridge-they had to order it three times because it was made incorrectly at the lab. The final bridge was set in my mouth and they did not show me with a mirror what it looked like. When I got home and saw it, I was appalled. It looks very fake, like a big lump. When I contacted the office again to complain, they said: “if your bite is fine and it doesn’t bother you, then there is nothing we can do.” They will not even take a second look. I gave this office a lot of money and I feel that I was not treated professionally.

Ashley Gillilan I had a wonderful experience today at Dental Care of Mid Florida. It was also my sons first dental cleaning too. We saw Jamie and she was absolutely wonderful. My son had ths best time and cant wait to go back. Jamie was very thorough and took the time to educate which I hadnt had anyone do before. V Krissoondatt I made an appointment for me and my wife to go see Dr Dillon. Appointments was confirmed day before by the office. When we get there they said Dr Dillon is not there. They said they have another dentist to covering for him so we see the other doctor she did some x-ray and the reschedule us to see Dr Dillon a month later thats fine. Few days later the Dr office called me asking if I want to come the have an opening appointment for Wednesday may 31st i ask if they have the approval from my insurance they girl says yes. When I get there they told me i have to pay up front because they didnt get the approval from the insurance as yet. And I have to pay for the first visit as well because the dentist that replaced Dr Dillon is not in network. My question why wasnt i informed about the dentist thats covering for Dr Dillon was not in network

BYRON WELCH Even though, I must admit, going to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do I actually have enjoyed the visits at Dr. Dillons office. His staff are professional and all have a great sense of humor which is how I view the world anymore. I would certainly recommend this office for any dental work that might be necessary.

Natasha Lambright First off, may I say that the office was full of up to date equipment, clean, and the staff were all very friendly. I know they do good work and help a lot of people, so for that I still give them a three star. I chose them for good reviews from friends and to get a second opinion because my past fillings have been traumatic. My teeth did not tolerate it well and I ended up having to have a root canal recommendation on one, another tooth pulled, and pain that I still have today from 2 fillings I got a year ago. I explained this at my first visit and was told that they would put a special gel in prior to my filling that should help. I called them prior to my appointment to ask if I could just get one filling done instead of all four just to make sure that their way of doing it, my mouth could handle. Instead, I was informed that that is not their policy, that they dont do one filling at a time, and referred me to another dentist. I have never heard of such a policy and Im saddened to hear that their particular office does not meet each and every patients need. Instead they have an across the board policy that does not fit individualized patients. As if I am a number rather than a person. If they read my chart they would also see I have generalized anxiety disorder, which obviously is not something they take into consideration either. I have a fear of dental procedures mainly due to past bad experiences and their office cannot accommodate that, which is disappointing. They have a questionnaire in their office asking what fears their patients have so they can better accommodate them. And yet when they are given the opportunity to help with that, they dont. I hope in the future they will reconsider this policy to better help more people in the community.

Kim Ladue Wonderful experience with Dr. Wood and staff. He has treated my TMJ pain with fantastic results in less than a year. He is very informative, takes time to explain and cares about results! Much better experience than the "corporate-run offices." He individualizes care and is concerned about getting the best results possible. Vicky We had appointments made 2 months in advance. The day of appointment they called us and “Cancel” us? Said the Dr. didn’t show up? We had to reschedule (which ended up being another month later. Showed up at that appointment to find building locked and no one inside. Called them - “NO ANSWER”!!! WHO DOES THAT & what kind of business is that?

Marchetta Waugh My experience with Dr. Kinnunens office was easy, the staff is great, and the doctor was fantastic. What was surprising is that it was painless. I had a tooth extracted in which I thought would be a miserable experience, but the doctor and his assistant were gentle, and explained each step of the process. I have not been to a doctor in the Lake Placid area who has been this professional. I would recommend Dr. Kinnunen to everyone who fears or dreads dentist visits, your experience will be pleasant and painless, and you will fear dentists no longer.

E Belle New resident in Highlands County from Ohio and I needed to establish myself with a dentist and his hygienist to take care of my teeth. I have had dental work all my life and had briefly tried one of the local big name dentistry locations that can be found everywhere. Huge mistake & although they had an office in Sebring I knew I would never go back there. They kept trying to sell products & things I did not need. DR Chip was great. Told me exactly what I needed and what he expected from me to maintain my mouth health. His Hygienist was amazing. Staff was helpful and Im really happy to have found a dentist & his staff that are as good as these guys.

ROBERT DUNCAN Dr Leslie did a great job. By far the best experience I had with a dentist. He took the time to explain what he was going to do and why he was choosing to go that route. Only negative thins was I was told they were sending in a pain medication which wasnt done. Everyone there was very friendly.

Angela Eaton It’s 2023 and the place is Covid crazy.. wouldn’t do my surgery unless I had my self bought covid test stating I was negative. Then, after my surgery I was NOT prescribed ANY pain meds and relied on ibuprofen for a week straight. The ladies there seem to be there just for the paycheck and also seemed annoyed waiting on me. Front desk lady is also extremely impatient, rude and uncooperative.

Mari Jo Hataway I have been a dental patient at this clinic since Dec 2022. The first appointment involved trays, exam and a good cleaning by a dental hygienist. I was nit examined by a dentist. The second visit in June 2023 was for a cleaning. During my appointment in December 2023, I was weighed (?) and then given a very perfunctory cleaning. When I asked about the yearly xrays, I was told, "Maybe well do that next time." Then she said she was going to do a cancer check, which involved me opening my mouth and her briefly looking inside. A couple of weeks later I was told by my insurance company that they didnt cover "cancer checks" so I have to pay that out of my own pocket. I have never seen a dentist in this clinic. I will be finding another dentists office.

Trailman AOL 64 I give them 3 stars cause I dont like the idea of not letting and adult go in back with their child or grandkids under 13 years old. Parents do not leave your kids alone any were not even for 10 minutes. We go to the orthodontist and adults are allowed to go back with the their kids that are under 18.

Barbara Klein Both my husband and myself go to Doctor Oxer. The office staff is friendly. Carol is a great Dental Hygienist. My husband recently was having a problem with dentures made by another dentist. Dr Oxer was able to fix the bottom dentures and make another upper denture. He also did an implant to better anchor the upper denture. He has a great sense of humor and is very good at explaining the process. You never feel rushed. Great dentist and great customer service. Glad we found him..
