5 /5 Bryan G: Visited back in 2020. Never left. When I read the book of Acts and how close and tinder the church was to each other then, I see this reflected at Crossing.
To me and my understanding of scripture, this is as close to what God intended for his church as you can get. Not because the people are perfect, but because the way we see everyone completely equally, we all love talking about Christ and its not just a clubhouse to meet up on a Sunday. Each person here genuinely loves Christ and each other. They each want to see each others lives improved in God/sanctify each other and when someone that society sees as "weird" walks in, NO ONE looks in harsh judgment but rapidly accepts that person for who they are while also having the desire to get them on their journey with Christ to perfection.
The elders have no sense of thinking their position is higher than any other. They dont expect you to serve outside of you desiring to do so loving for God. While I dont knock on this for those who are, they are not career pastors. They each have their own jobs outside and do this on their free time because they LOVE Christ and His bride. And that alone should convince you to make this your home if it is for you.
God bless
