Tom Bennett Park - Bradenton (FL)

5 /5 Joseph Flesche: This park has been renovated recently (based on the other reviews, within the past year). I was mainly there for the calisthenics park but noticed that the childrens park right next door was amazing. I highly recommend it!

5 /5 T J: Tom Bennett just re-did their park area and it’s so amazing!! They have zip lines for the kids, a swing-saw for mother to sit across from her baby, rock walls, an exercise area, frisbee golf, volleyball courts, and corn hole. They did an amazing job. And a splash pad is coming in the near future! Great job!

4 /5 Kevin Jackson: Visited this park while my son was at wrestling practice at Parrish High School. It came up as the closest park with a paved walking trail. Glad I found it. Reason I didnt give it 5 stars was there were some areas of trash around the walking trail and "no see-em" bugs came out in force and bit us while on the work out area. Even with that, Id still go back and recommend others visit. Nice visuals in the back where the athletic fields are. Thats the only area where dogs are not allowed but if you look through my pictures, youll notice someone didnt care about that rule. Plenty to do for all ages including a new playground area being built.

5 /5 ellen partal: This is a beautiful, spacious, and well maintained park. We have been here several times, and the folks are friendly. There is a lot of parking in the lots. There are many tree groves with benches to sit in the shade as well as barbques with a nearby picnic table sprinkled around amongst the groves. These mini groves act as breaks in the expansive fields that make up the Ultimate Frisbee course that crosses over ponds and under tree canopies. The courses are well marked with concrete pads to throw from and boards that show the length of the hole and direction. Its free and easy to follow. The park also has a beautiful playground and beach volleyball, its the perfect place for a picnic, a stroll, a game of frisbee golf or a break from your day. Its located just off hwy 70 and Hwy 64. The bathrooms are very clean by playground and there are nice outhouse through out the park.
