He helped me understand what was wrong with my car and how to get it fixed with the dealership. He also did probably the fastest oil change Ive ever had! Great and professional owner! I will be back!

He addressed problems with her car that other mechanics could not do. She highly recommends Steve to anyone looking for a fair and honest mechanic! His wife even followed up with her days after she had the work done to see if she was satisfied with the work! Her answer was a definite Yes!

5 /5 Nancy Flinton: This auto shop is one of the best we have been to. We bought a used suv and took it to Steve the owner because we thought the starter was going out. It ended up being so much more, so much more. We are thinking that no way it can be fixed. Let me say he fixed the suv and had it done in a few days. He had to order parts. We were so relieved and grateful. His price He quoted was awesome and very reasonable. He will be the one we call from now on. If you need a mechanic you should call Steve. He deserves a 5 star rating or more.

5 /5 Nicholas Zalla: 10/10 service, I HIGHLY recommend Top Notch! Steve is hands down the best (and most honest) mechanic I’ve found since moving to FL! I called the nearby Toyota dealer and 2 other independent shops, the dealer was downright rude and the others couldn’t help with my Tundra’s pre-purchase inspection. I called Steve and he said “absolutely I can help with that!” Steve explained everything clearly and did a very thorough inspection efficiently. He is a very upbeat and kind person, and great fun to talk to!

5 /5 J Bryant: Steve is the absolute best. I work for a paint contractor here in Punta Gorda. My Ford Escape is my work vehicle which makes it my livelihood. Prefer to keep my other car clean as its more the family car. Ive been here for 10 years now and have had some pretty bad experiences with shops in this area. "Fixing" something only to break something else, or not even fixing the issue. Charging ridiculous amounts in the process. I was worried when my powertrain warning light came on that it would break the bank. Poor experiences lead to expecting the worse. I did a search for different mechanics and found Top Notch had nothing but positive results. Called Steve, spoke for a while and dropped it off after work Monday. When he called me Tuesday morning to tell me what needed fixed, I figured it would be a few days and a few thousand. It was a few hours and $300. If youre looking for someone to be "your guy", call him. Honesty and dependability are becoming rare qualities these days. Sorry if this is a long review, but it was time well spent if it helps you choose him.
