  • Cuts And Color - Melbourne R. Robu: Its hard to get a good haircut these days. We had only been here 5x, so on the 6th time, we asked for who we wanted to do the haircut with. When we got to pay, our boys were charged an additional $5 extra & when I asked why, she said "you asked for a specialist." She never charged us extra before & did NOT tell us prior that we would charge us extra this time. So, we never returned because now her price is higher than our local barber. She wanted to screw us by charging us extra so she loses 3 customers. Very shady staff works here. Beware.
Talking Heads Hair Salon - Melbourne Cardwell Cydnee (Cyd): I always have a great experience here. The staff are pleasant and Juliann does an excellent job with my hair.
Salon on the Boulevard - Melbourne Lisa Reeser: Brenda took her time to listen to what I wanted and my hair came out better than expected!
Oggi Salon - Melbourne Debbie Brand: I recently moved to Melbourne and after a long search for just the right salon I found Oggi Salon and owner/stylist, Giovanna. Giovanna is a real pro! She’s excellent with color, cut and making you feel comfortable! A great salon with great people. I always get compliments on my hair and highly recommend Oggi Salon!
Rootz Hair Co. - Melbourne marisa kahn: Longest Review of my life…A month ago I told Gracie I was leaving Friday, March 29 th for a work contract and I needed to get in for a touch up. My appointment was set for March 27. Gracie had just had a knee replacement and I reminded her that I was leaving that week and she said it’s fine I’ll get you in. I got a text on the 26th saying she basically that she couldn’t work that long each day and can get me in next week. This was not feasible since I was leaving that Friday I had to remind her again. I had a meeting at 11am when she texted me helping a colleague but canceled it after going back and forth with Gracie concerned. She got another stylist involved! Another stylist and Gracie were not collaborating well where it had me as the client like you guys are the professionals so please get on the same page. They were saying 2 different things for my hair. In a panic, I ran to the salon and I encountered Kristin. Kristen said she would help me.Gracie texted saying she recommended her. Kristen from the very start was very condescending and rude. She started off saying ā€œdon’t be mean to me.ā€I said to her ā€œI’m sorry am I being mean to you?ā€ I’m panicked because time was of the essence. No one seemed to understand the severity of the situation that I have to get my house together, and pack to be gone for seven months working 24/7. I was by no means, mean and she said ā€œno but just don’t be mean to me.ā€ It was an odd statement. Throughout the whole service, she would barely let me talk to say anything. Another client of Gracie’s came in and Kristen was trying to help her. She was telling her how she was swamped due a bigger case. I said ā€œsorry I am the bigger caseā€. Kristen snapped at me and said ā€œdon’t talk over me.ā€ That’s how it was the whole time I have no idea why Kristin was making me feel like I was at her mercy. It was like I’m going to be condescending to you because you’re at the mercy of me doing your hair and I’m going to treat you accordingly. At the very end, when trying to discuss correcting it, she said just give me my money.ā€My hair she turned blue, along with being 5 other colors( orange, blonde, brown, blue, white, black) and gave me a huge line in the back. She refuses to give me my money back in full, and I had to go for a color correction yesterday. I just want my money back but this was completely unethical and wrong, how this was handled anyway. Gracie; unfortunately, being the owner of the salon, and I thought a professional would not say anything to Kristen even though she recommended Kristin to me and my long time stylist! I felt thrown to the wolves I was trusting! Gracie was shocked at Kristenā€˜s behavior that she doesn’t normally act like that. Well, for whatever reason she was acting like that to me-100 percent. I tried several times to call and text Kristin after.I told Gracie I was going to go to social media and other avenues. I guess they were upset me for talking to one of the her long time clients about what happened when I tried to talk to Kristen at the time in the salon the next day.I guess social media didn’t matter to them.Kristen refused to talk to me though until I took a picture of her cosmetology license. Then she said she would call me later. That did not occur. A nasty text was it. Just like the rest of our interaction, it was just telling me how it was going to be and I was going to have to deal with it. Even Gracie said on the phone to me and my corrective stylist, that my hair ā€œlooked unrecognizableā€. I’m quite flabbergasted at the whole situation that Gracie is apologizing for Kristin’s work and her behavior to me. On so many levels, this was so unprofessional.Kristin paid me back $85 of the $245 for her work, never mind the $250 dollars I lost with the correction that someone else did yesterday. If she couldn’t do the job, then she shouldn’t have taken the job. She said to me ā€œyou will leave here looking gorgeous because I’ve been doing this 20 years. It’s my name on itā€ A professional would’ve never let me walk out like that at the end of the service.
Hair Say Spalon - Melbourne Brooke Queen: Dina did an absolutely amazing job! I have never felt so great walking out of a salon :) So happy to have found a stylist i trust and LOVE!
Olivia Carol Salon - Melbourne Pat Gough: I moved here from California 5 years ago and had been going to the same hairdresser for over 15 years so you can imagine my anxiety level when It came to finding someone new that I would have complete trust in. That person turned out to be Karen at Olivia Carol Salon. She listens carefully to your expectations and answers any questions you may have. She has cut my hair three times now and I have every expectation I will be her client for as long as she continues to do hair. Thank you Karen!

Hair Secrets & Spa - Melbourne Dawn: I’m so thankful for how gorgeous my hair is looking again. To be clear, I’m not easily impressed, and I don’t trust many people touching it, as it’s massive, and I enjoy wearing it long, layered, with high and lowlights. Linda has been my hair professional for over 8 years now, but it was only within the last year while I was very ill and unable to see her, that I realized how much I missed her truly creative and meticulous work. Over the years, I’ve gotten compliments on how great my hair looks, but during the period of time I’d gone elsewhere, it looked bunchy, dry and well, pretty sad. I didn’t realize how bad it was until last week, when Linda worked her magic, and I won’t ever make the same mistake again, no matter what. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am to look and feel absolutely fabulous again! Many thanks, Linda!
The Hair Gallery Salon - Melbourne Jessica Barr: Maria saved my life! I have had purple hair for several years. Recently I started a new job and was told I had to change my hair to a "natural color". I was devastated and terrified when I walked into the salon. Maria and Alex instantly made me feel at ease. They were kind and understanding and encouraging throughout the process. Maria was extremely patient and took the time to help me chose the best option to achieve my goals. The result was far beyond my expectations! Maria and Alex took something horrible and stressful and turned it into something positive. I love my new hair and I am so thankful! I will definitely be a regular customer!!!
