1 /5 James Brian: WARNING!!! In my opinion I would never recommend this company. Very nice at first but once you don’t want the work done their demeanor changes immediately. Gave me a price on installing a transmission with labor only. Allowed me to source my own transmission. I found one with a 12/12k warranty. I showed him what they required to insure the warranty would be valid as part of the install. One of the items required item was to flush the transmission. His price of 1,200 went to 1,800. 400.00 to flush a transmission. Hmm I would think you would want to flush old transmission fluid. Nonetheless, I didn’t feel comfortable with him doing the job. He recommended welding the small crack. He quoted 2600. I said let me think about it. I called around to find out if this was a good idea, it’s alluvium. Not one person said it was a good idea and it was only 700 cheaper than a new transmission. After my research I went there and told him I wasn’t having any work done and I would remove the vehicle. He got nasty and told me to get it out by tomorrow. I went back with a trailer to remove it. Interesting the car wouldn’t now go into any gear. Hence, it was driven there 7 miles away when it was first dropped off. I was told by their employees (who are very nice) that the car where it was parked now was backed in to the spot by driving it. Now all of a sudden I can’t even get the car into any gear yet alone neutral. I asked him to get it into gear. It feel on deaf ears. I called several times and got the run around. After about 2 months of being ignored I emailed him. He called me back screaming at me because I wanted my car the way it was brought to him. Drivable. That week I went to get the car. The Range Rover key I gave them was water damaged and wouldn’t open my car. Pictures of damaged key in review. They had to break in to my car. Picture attached. I then had to go to the RR dealer to have my key fixed. The next day I called the cops to assist me with removing my car and to verify the car would not go into any gear unless it was manually put into neutral under the hood by removing engine bay parts. My car is worse off now after bringing it to Gerald. I believe there is now more damage to the car. How do you return someone’s car that was drivable to having to be towed and not being drivable. Do yourself a favor and go else where.
