Aqua Salon - St. Petersburg mckenna shanholtz: LISTEN UP GUYS! If you need a hair salon in St Pete….This is your place. And Jen is your girl!! I moved from Chicago a year ago and haven’t found a nice salon since I have moved. Everyone seems so over priced, and a bit rude & not what I was looking for. Until I found this place & Jen! She is a hair stylist here and she is now my hair stylist for as long as I live in St Pete! My hair is brown, and I get blonde highlights. I haven’t had it in a while since I couldn’t find anyone to do it.. but she did such an amazing job. And more importantly, she was the most kind person I have met. Even after getting my hair done, a few weeks later I was leaving for a vacation and wanted to get some toner in my hair to lighten it a bit more. She came in early to meet with me and do it. She makes me feel very comfortable and confident. She’s also extremely knowledgeable as she has been doing this a very long time! This is my second review ever… so It takes a lot for me to leave a good review!! But this salon and Jen deserves it! Thank you so much and can’t wait for my next appointment in 2 months:)

Marilyns Hair Salon - St. Petersburg Kierra Casimir: If you are African American with natural hair this is NOT the place for you. I came here for a deep condition, trim and blowout. Rosa was the stylist that did my hair. She was a nice lady but had no idea what she was doing. She was very rough while washing my hair and did not know how to detangle it. Since it was not properly detangled it was difficult to blow it out. Multiple times she burned me on accident while doing my hair. I told the receptionist about my experience and informed her I would never come back. Before the appointment I asked if they know how to do natural hair and was told yes they can. It is a disservice to say you can do natural hair when it is far from the truth. I advised the receptionist to not allow Rosa to do anyone else with natural hair because it is evident she cannot properly do it and does harm to the customer. My experience and others with natural hair who left a review about Rosa, shows she should not be doing African American natural hair. Allow it to be a warning before booking. When I got home I noticed my hair was not trimmed properly and my hair suffered severe heat damage. I now have to cut my hair. I cried so much. Please do not go here. If you decide to book an appointment and you are African American with natural hair, do not allow Rosa to do your hair. She is a sweet woman but she doesn’t know how to do our hair. I normally don’t leave reviews but I had to so no one else makes the same mistake as I did.

Haus Of Chantel Studio Salon - St. Petersburg Tara Kranzel: I’ve been going to Renee for years and have recommended EVERYONE to her, including my mom. She’s the most dedicated hairstylist with a genuine love for her clients and service. I’ve always left happy and will continue to go back! I love how she cuts my hair, styles it, colors it, and listens to my preferences. I also love getting a Brazilian blowout from her! Such a welcoming salon and very fair prices.

Hair Place - St. Petersburg Michele Clary: The Hair Place is very clean and very friendly! You walk in & feel like youre part of a family!! Ive not been there where I left not-liking my hair!!!

Salon Luxe - St. Petersburg Ariana Shaver: The decor is chic. Love all the hair products and other items they have to choose from. Candle, jewelry,ect. I met the owner such a sweet welcoming person. My son got a fade and edged very sharp and clean by Johnny, a barber currently in the shop. I would highly recommend the salon to anyone looking for a welcoming professional place for all your hair care needs. Definitely check them out!!!

Tabatha Exquisite Touch Beauty Salon - St. Petersburg LJ Murphy Jr.: Ms. Consuela and her team are the best!! Shes been working great with my 10yr old daughter since she was about 3yrs old. And she doesn’t specialize in doing little kids hair but she did for me being a single father. I recommend her and her team for any woman out there trying to get their hair done. My daughter always feels great leaving her shop!

Practically Frivolous Salon and Spa - St. Petersburg Zephyniis Wharton: First hair curly cut that I got and actually liked! Anna rose was super sweet and accommodating and a joy to talk to! My hair cut didn’t make me look like a poodle!
