1 /5 Christina: If you are pregnant, I recommend staying away. I had very bad experiences with the way this practice is run on multiple ocassions. When I miscarried a twin early in the pregnancy and was bleeding, I called the after hours line and they would not see me as I had not had my first appointment yet, even though it was on the books and scheduled.
Additionally, it took weeks to get any help getting access to my patient portal, so that I was unable to see my test results and medical notes in the meantime. While initially acting like I was the issue, they eventually realized there was a technical glitch on their end that needed to be fixed, but it took way too long and way too much resistance to be able to get access to my own medical notes.
I was never called back by this practice after being hospitalized with severe pains, despite leaving three messages throughout the week for the nurse. The ER doctor asked me to follow up with my OBGYN to make sure my pregnancy was still okay after being discharged from the emergency room. After this experience, I finally switched to a new OBGYN and the difference has been night and day.
There were many other smaller instances of poor patient care and customer experience that I will refrain from commenting on in addition to these more extreme ones.
With my new OBGYN I quickly learned there were additional screenings I should have been having early on because of my age and underlying health risks. Im not sure why this practice did not recommend these things or even mention them. The new OBGYN also caught an issue this practice did not.
