1 /5 nathalie Ortega: partner, who typically wears a size 2X to 3X (Big and Tall). When I arrived, the first thing I asked was whether they had these sizes available. The man who assisted me was very kind and sold me a shirt under the impression that all shirts were available in these larger sizes. Unfortunately, the original shirt did not fit, and when we returned to exchange it in less than 24 hours, we were informed that they only had limited options in that size. This would have been acceptable if I had been informed from the beginning, but I was led to believe that all shirts came in those larger sizes.
The prices for these shirts range from $55 to $150. This brand is family-owned and not a large corporation. The second time I visited, the owner was present, and she was quite rude—not only to me but to other customers as well. She made it clear that she was unwilling to help us get our money back after I expressed my frustration about being misled and not being able to find a suitable fit for my partner. Her statement was that her “hands are tied,” suggesting she, as the owner, could do nothing.
This is not true; I have worked in retail for many years, and it seemed she was more interested in keeping our money than in maintaining good customer relationships. I genuinely wanted to support a Puerto Rican business and be part of their growth while finding a place where my partner could find clothes. Now, I am disappointed that the only Puerto Rican-owned fashion store near me has such poor customer service, especially for expensive items that are not worth the price.
I do not recommend supporting this business. We will be gifting the item and will not be wearing their logo at all. DO NOT SHOP HERE.
