samantha rivera My experience here as a student was just okay, leaving Aveda I truly still feel like i know nothing and that the curriculum isnt that helpful, I was in the esthetician program and learning the ingredients in skin care products was very helpful. Everything is just around the aveda products itself and I do understand that I did sign up to a school with their own skin care brand, but now leaving the school I dont even know what to buy to start my own facial business. I wish they taught us more than just the"aveda way." as I just graduated two weeks ago I still feel unprepared and useless in the beauty industry. While being taught The theory portion it was all through a zoom call with other institute around Florida and I feel like I was learning nothing because learning from another teacher on Zoom is not easy as they are just going at their own pace and only really stopping for their own class. I had a hard time being able to listen to the Zoom call as most of the time the other teachers at the other institute would just talk extremely fast and it felt like they were just throwing out information more than actually teaching. At aveda, I felt like an unpaid brand ambassador and they seem to care more about how many products you sell and doing your quotas than your education in itself. You can get your moneys worth somewhere else. The student financial aid was always a disaster, and could never get anything right, they ignored my moms emails constantly and when I went to go talk to him about my moms emails he said and i quote "i saw it, i just didnt want to reply" and the person behind all of our hours and licensing was never any help and failed to answer emails and that was a complaint by many students. I had higher expectations going into aveda because I know it is a well-known very popular brand but I just feel like I left the school know nothing. I was extremely excited to start this chapter when I first started off at aveda, but the more time I was there, the more drained I was and kept questioning myself about why i chose this career path for myself. Definitely do your research before going to the "name brand school,"

Emma Milazzo I have been coming to this school for facials and hair cuts/color/ highlights for about one year. I have never been disappointed. My hair sometimes doesnt come out perfect but I understand they are students and deserve grace. I experienced the students always doing their best with the guidance from their Educators. I appreciate that the Educators, Steve, Crystal and Kristen were constantly checking the students work and correcting them as they went through each phase of hair color and cut. The attention to detail is very good and you cant beat the cost over a salon.

Stacey Ploth I had a highlight and style by Julia. I would highly recommend her. She was very social and made the time go by so quickly. She was professional and did a great job with both my highlight and style. She also taught me a new style technique: finger coiling. I will definitely be back!

Clarissa Venezuela Prive Salon offers exceptional service with a warm and professional team. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome, from the complimentary drinks to the relaxing head massages and treatments. Their prices are very reasonable. My daughter and I visited this Saturday, and we were thrilled with the excellent styling results, thanks to Jordan Cátala.

Brianna Christensen Gina was great! I have long hair and always prefer keeping the length with long layers. She gave me exactly what I asked for and was very mindful of the length! The layers were also blended beautifully. The salon itself was very luxurious with complimentary drinks & every person I spoke with was friendly. 10/10!

Bella Costanza Throughout my life I’m someone who has never been super skilled at knowing what to do with my hair and how to care for it properly. I decided to come to Stella Luca and after meeting with stylist Vincent I knew I was going to be in very good hands. Vincent was extremely professional, knowledgeable, charismatic and kind. Liv D Purchased a Groupon for 20 units of Botox/ $179.10. Artistik Beauty is clean, decorated nicely, with friendly/accommodating staff. I appreciated that they messaged me prior to see if I had Alle points to use in addition to the Groupon. Ashley Pontenberg consulted me and advised I would need 20 additional units between my brows so she can treat my forehead. I appreciated her consult and purchased 20 more units of Botox for $240 to achieve the results I was looking for. I normally receive 20 units for desired results but it has been over 6 months since my last treatment. 2 weeks and 40 units of Botox later, no results. Hopeful to see maximum results at the 30 day mark. Staff was quick to see how I was doing with a text the next day. Have not tried any other services yet.

Amanda Oni Sarah Hudson has been doing my hair for more than 15 years! She is a master with cut and color! Sarah always works to understand exactly what I’m looking for and then meticulously brings that look to life. My hair can be difficult when it comes to cut and sometimes even color, but I always leave her chair with the most gorgeous hair. She is also a beautiful person, inside and out, and I am happy to call her a friend! You won’t regret making her your new stylist!

Holly Bonynge Sarah H is amazing! I’ve been getting my hair done by her for 10 years and it always looks amazing. She’s honest on what will/won’t work with your hair and what the upkeep will be. She listens and works with you to get you the results that you want. Her coloring is the best I’ve ever had done. Love her so much I drive an hour to her and have followed her to different salons.

Rebeca I went in for an all-over color and haircut. Upon arrival, I was informed that no permanent color would be applied; instead, a gloss would be used—at least, that’s what I understood. My goal was to eliminate the red tones in my hair and achieve a darker shade, but the result looked almost the same, with some red tones still visible. Additionally, I noticed some color left on my forehead. I was disappointed but unsure of how to address it at the time. I was charged $125 for the service. Later, I called for clarification, thinking there may have been a misunderstanding. The person I spoke with explained that I had received a semi-permanent color. As a result, I was refunded $30. In total, I paid $220 for my hair to look nearly the same. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning, but I hope this serves as a learning opportunity. That said, everyone here was kind.

I started with one hair stylist and am now with Monica (the BEST ever). Vanessa has been welcoming since the day I met her and Caleb/Kaleb at Rollins. Everyone at the salon is extremely welcoming, professional, kind, and a real joy to be around. AVEDA at Mint on The Avenue is my 2nd home. They know I love them! But to be fully honest, Monica does an impeccable job with my hair every. single. time. I couldn’t recommend this salon more. Just the most talented and sweet bunch of people. Sammy Russo Simone and her team were incredible! I wanted a team that high lighted the natural beauty of all the girls in my wedding party, and they did just that! The makeup was elegant and not too heavy like some artists can do. They also did any incredible job with everyones hair whether it was an up do or just down with curls. Alla Serdiukova I’ve been customer of Euro Style Beaty salon for years. I do my hair with Jenya Kapul and facial procedures with Kate. Girls are amazing!!!They’re real professionals with attention to the details and customer’s needs. I’ve always been more than happy with the results.Would never trust my hair and skin to somebody else! Especially I want to recommend the Hydro Beauty Facial. This my favorite procedure. It makes your skin clean, shiny and deeply hydrated with such care, no redness at all. Overall the salon is clean, nicely decorated and staff is very polite. You will not regret trying their services.

Zoe I ended up emailing the ladies here, as I found them on Groupon. They were able to squeeze me in just two days later and honor my Groupon price without the Groupon; I was having issues with the app. I am not one to trust many people with my hair, especially with a change I have never done before, but I looked past the prior reviews to give them a try. When I got to the salon, they sat me down, put me in their kimono and towel, and explained to me to the point what the pricing would be and for what. I went from a dark brown to a purple with zero bleach and it took amazing. Sarah was the one who did my hair; she was quiet and sweet. They were kind enough to even charge my phone for me, since it died during my visit. I definitely do suggest giving this place a try, as I had no issues and was treated very well there. The color changes a bit depending on the lighting and I love that, especially with all the different depths of color. I will leave an update in a week or two of how the color has lasted but today I am highly satisfied upon first impression.

Michelle Carmona 10/10+10. Issara always makes me feel so confident when I leave. She listens to what I’m looking for and delivers. I’m very particular, but with her I literally say it once and never again. After my first 2 appointments I can take my beloved lash nap and know I’ll wake up with the perfect set. When it’s time for brows she slays them every time. I couldn’t recommend her and Blyss Beauty enough! Additionally, the music, the ambiance and overall experience when you go in is like the perfect girls day. If you haven’t been, you’re cheating yourself. I’ve been going for almost a year and it’s the best decision I’ve made.

Genesys Sierra Ive never gotten a lash lift before but wanted to try it out before my trip. I wanted to make sure I went to someone reputable and my cousin recommended Alyssa. Alyssa was absolutely wonderful and explained the entire process step by step. I had a concern which she addressed immediately. I absolutely love my results and will be visiting again.

The owners are great and are always so helpful. During the pandemic, I have always felt safe there. They have gone above and beyond with health and cleanliness standards.
