Simply4 goodmeasure Not sure what happened with the previous reviewer, but Ive been going to Kims for nearly six years now and never once had a problem. I wouldnt even let anyone touch my hair but Kim. She has cut and styled it, and colored and highlighted it - and not once has there been a problem. She is truly an excellent stylist and her prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend her!!

Claudine Fisher Kim is a very sweet lady. She does not only take care of your hair but relaxes you during the hair washing with scalp and face massage. She is super talented and professional. She is from now on my new hair stylist. I can not wait to go back. She spoiled me and my hair color came out fabulous.

Rosa Quintero Somehow my email was changed and I couldn’t get into my account. I called and they said I had to go into the start and show my ID. That’s all good, I can understand that. I get to the store, wait in line to speak to the girl at the register and she explains she doesn’t know what to do. She states she has to call a manager. The girl was super nice and at this point I was still okay. The problem was the fact that I waited 1/2 hour before I decided to just leave because the manager never came out and the girl at the register kept calling and saying there is a customer that needs help but no one came.

Cara Jackson When visiting this store tonight I had an unpleasant visit. I waited in line for 20min before I was able to make a purchase . I wanted lip liner but the one I had they didn’t have in stock . The manger came up and informed me that she can order online and that it is buy one get one half off so she asked if I would like to get another one? She also volunteered to come help me find one. Once we got to the lip liner section the manager(lily) in the middle of helping me, states a lot of people had called out and this is all she has on the floor and she does not have time to go back to the back to look for The other two that I had found when we walked back .She kept emphasizing that this is all she has and that she has to get back to the front because they are short staff Insinuating that she no longer wanted or found in need to help me. I informed her that I deserve the same respect She gave her other customers when she was on the floor. I also informed her that I was waiting in line for 20 minutes, and she did not rush to help her coworker that was by herself, but now that she is helping me, she is rushing me. I feel that this is a lack of customer service specially for a manager. I am still a customer at the end of the day and she had no patience for me.

Brian & Nicole Love I often feel like this store (not just this location) trains its employees to avoid customers and look busy. Every single time I visit, it’s the same story—no one offers assistance, and suddenly everyone is preoccupied with straightening shelves. However, one employee, "V," has restored a bit of my faith. She went out of her way, stopping what she was doing to help me. As a grown woman, I should probably know what I’m looking for, but with so many options, it can be overwhelming. V took the time to explain different products, made thoughtful suggestions, and never came across as pushy. She’s truly one of a kind, and this store needs more employees like her. Thanks V!

Diana joseph I went to that store couple times the owner seems very hostile I didn’t care much about it. Until this morning that guy was so disrespectful, yelled and cursed at me for no reasons. If you’re a woman mainly a woman of color spend your hard earned money elsewhere. For my entire existence I never felt threatened by anyone until this morning..

Stephanie Reyes I have long curly hair and went in for trim with Kadian. She’s very personable and had lots of advice for my questions. It had been two years since my last trim; had lots of breakage. Salon’s atmosphere was pleasant, and she worked quickly, reassuring me every step that she took. I’ll be back and am confident that she will do great! Salon also offers nail, aesthetic, and massage services.

Kemisha Jones I absolutely LOVE Kadian and her work. Everytime I go, I always have a great hair experience. The atmosphere and conversations are always heartwarming. When you sit in her chair she takes her time, is thorough and provides you with GREAT hair. I would recommend her.

Saint Eloise I went to this salon a couple of years ago and recently found photos of her work and decided to share my story. I went on my own twice for a short haircut and color. It was in different visits. I will acknowledge she did a good job the FIRST time with my cut. She fixed a cut from a previous stylist and it looked good. Mind you she was SLOW. Another issue I had with her salon, is her commentary. At times I felt shaded by her and another employee in the salon. I will damned if I pay money to be disrespected. Well the disrespect really came in when she did my mothers hair. She did a poor job on my mothers cut. She parted her hair in four sections and cut straight through without checking. She barely blow dried my mothers hair to make sure it was straight enough to be cut. As many trims and cuts as I have had, I have never heard of something crazy like this. Once my mom told me the story, I vowed to NOT go back. Of course she didnt take her time on my moms head because she was tripled and more booked. It was unprofessional given her age and time as a stylist. She wouldnt get a recommendation from me to anyone I care about or like.

D M Visiting FL from TN to spend Xmas with family. I visited here after the Great Clips on Malabar Rd absolutely butchered my hair. This location fixed my hair and I ended up with one of the best hair cuts Ive had in years. GO HERE, NOT MALABAR RD. Amazing.

To my surprise, the wait was only about 15 minutes. Very friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be back anytime Im in town and need a haircut.

Moni S I dread coming to this beauty supply I prefer the one on 192 or Malabar. This one has horrible energy. No greeting when you come in or check out. They act as if they don’t want to speak to you. If u go far in the back one of the workers come rushing to where u are to see what you’re doing like it isn’t plenty of camera’s. This store is not welcoming at all. We need to spend our black dollars where they are valued and not judged
