5 /5 Joe Cairo: I just want to say how great this gym is. Im in town visiting family and I called three other gems and they were nice to me too, but I wanted to come in super early within the 24-hour gym hours. No one would do it except coastal family. The equipment is super clean , advanced and everything is put back into place. The owner stopped in when I was wrapping up my workout and greeted me as well. If youre in the area to work out you have to come here or if you live in the area you need to join this gym.

5 /5 Elise Ristau: This is one of the best gyms I have ever been to and by far my favorite since moving to Florida. The staff is incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help me get a new membership squared away. I asked if they recently got new equipment, because of how nice everything was - but they just take care of their gym and it shows. I haven’t been this comfortable in a gym in a long time, other members are so respectful and gym etiquette is upheld by all. And to top it off, when classes aren’t in session I have a secluded spot to practice posing. Kudos to Stuart and the team that runs this place, they’ve created a great environment and I’m so thankful to have found them.

5 /5 Stan Smith: Gym is clean, and well equipped, and not overcrowded! A variety of: machines, attachments for cable machines, Squat racks, Smith machines, Sled/turf area, and dumbbells up to +- 140lbs (very uncommon around here). Staff is friendly, price is right, and the Owner Ed is a generous, and stand-up guy! Heard theyll have a sauna soonish too, looking forward to that, especially pre-workout during the cooler months. 5 /5 Rob: I’m not a member because the location isn’t convenient for me (I travel a lot), but I really like everything about this gym and happens to live close, so every once in a while I like to treat myself and text Ed for a day pass, I send my credit card info and he unlocks the door remotely. The best part about this gym is that it’s not an LA Fitness or a Planet Fitness. There is no waiting for machines. There is no obnoxious high school kids coming making a scene and not reracking their weights. There are no ego-lifters throwing dumbbells around because they can’t control their weight. This is a truly peaceful place where you can go workout for an hour and really enjoy it. For me, it really is a special treat to drive past my big box gym to go get a real workout at one of Ed’s gyms.

5 /5 Dan: 5/5 ⭐️ – Highly Recommend! I had the chance to work out at Coastal Family Gym in Clearwater for three weeks, and I honestly loved every visit. The gym is super clean, well-maintained, and has all the equipment you could possibly need—whether youre into lifting, cardio, or functional training. Would love a hack squat as i cant do regular squat because of a hernia but can easily work around that. One of the standout parts of my experience was the atmosphere. It’s welcoming, never too crowded, and just has a great community vibe. A special shoutout to Stuart, who works in the mornings—hes incredibly kind, always helpful, and makes everyone feel right at home. You can tell the staff genuinely care—they keep the place spotless and the energy positive. Whether you’re a local or just in town for a bit, I highly recommend Coastal Family Gym without hesitation. This place makes it easy to stay motivated!
