I keep blocking their numbers over and over and they continue to say it’s “not that kind of annoying message haha” as they text me yet again after I’ve said three times that I am not interested. Please take the hint and quit calling me. Thank you.

1 /5 Christian Santana: Lauren Stewart was nice and helped us initially, but then she disappeared, probably after she received her commission. Never returned any of my calls for over two months. If I could give no stars I would. Please do not waste your time by reaching out to this company, very unprofessional not sure how a business like this can still be active.

1 /5 Tammie Simmons: I have been dealing with my aunt passing away and not able to answer calls they called my phone for my husband who does need insurance and I told the lady that it was no longer his phone and she started telling how I needed to say hello when I answered my phone and not just set there and say nothing and hang up I’ve been handling my aunts passing this weekend and told me to be more mature. Then she hung up on me not letting me tell her that I could give her my husbands new number. So yeah don’t use this place

1 /5 Emani Powers: I wouldn’t even give this 0 stars. I would give -5 stars if I could! I have been a type 1 diabetic for 19 years now. I have always had such a hard time finding decent coverage for all of my medications and diabetic supplies. I had a previous health insurance that was the worst I’ve ever been on, paying $250+ for them to tell me none of my medications are even covered and that I would have to fill out an application for each medication and then that would take weeks for approval and then the prescriptions would be mailed to the doctors offices and not pharmacy which could take a couple more weeks. That didn’t work for me so I decided to enter my info on one of those ads where you can try to get new insurance. Nico Jacques from First Family Insurance spent around an hour searching for the best insurance plan for my needs and I wrote everything down as he spoke to me for each of the top 3 plans he offered. I chose one that costs $308/month ONLY because he assured me and I double checked multiple times with him when he told me my insulin and pills costed $0 out of pocket and my diabetic supplies costed $100 then later he told me it was actually $50. He assured me and sent me a screenshot. Come to find out I go to fill my prescription and they try to charge me $85 for my insulin and $32 for my pills and don’t even mention my diabetic supplies because that’s hundreds. I reached back out to Nico and he said no you’re wrong you must’ve misunderstood me and I said no you told me I had $0 copay and I sent him a screenshot of the notes I took with the time stamp of April and he then checked something on his end and came back and said I was right and proceeded to send another screenshot of the same picture and where it said what I had told him. I called Florida Blue and she checked everything in her end and said the pharmacy was charging me correctly and I needed to call my agent (Nico) because he sold me an incorrect insurance plan and I have high copays and the only reason I signed up for this plan was because Nico assured me I had $0 copays. I am extremely upset because I am now spending close to $600 each month when I was told it would only be $308. I reached back out to him and he answered once and gave me his incorrect email which I feel was on purpose and then later found the correct one because I remember him sending me something prior with documents and then never heard from him again. I got screwed over so bad and no one at this company cares because I’m sure they got their money and went on their way. You are messing with peoples lives here!! Horrible company and horrible way of “helping” people out when you don’t even have all of the correct information to help your customers. Smh.

Andrew: Tim shaw agency was fantastic. It was 5 stars. I could always go in and get help on anything in person. Through tim shaw ins. I had 2 different flood insurances and car insurance. Since acentria took over, its near impossible to get ahold of them. I recently found out that my flood insurance has been overcharging me for the last 8 years at least. I have emailed acentria and left a voicemail on friday. Today is tuesday. And have heard nothing from them. I called the front office and this woman transferred me to a line that went directly to voicemail. I left a voicemail. And about an hour later called back to see if she can transfer me to another person. And she says you just have to wait. I said ive been waiting since last friday. I was upset. That i can never get ahold of anyone in this company. I told her you dont understand how important this is. (She said here at acentria every customer is important). Hartford told me they can reimburse the money ive lost. But i need accentria to send them paperwork showing im primary owner.

Andie Anderson: This is the absolute worst company I have had the displeasure of dealing with. They had 2 attempts at handling our insurance. I have been in business for over 20 years and never had any issue. The first attempt we dealt with lies and pure laziness. I pulled from them and went to another company. No issues with the new company until AWA took over for them. Again we dealt with lies, laziness and complete incompetence. Our liability policy jumped from $800 a year to $4400. After a lot of work the agent signed us up for a policy for $1900. It got canceled 2 weeks into it. Not surprised the only other option was the $4400 policy that I refused to go with. We did find a competent agent with another firm who got us a policy for $1700. It was quick, easy and done in a day. I will never deal with AWA again. Too bad I have to give at least one star.
