3 /5 Ashley Diaz: This is the second time I have visited this location and both times the staff were rude and unhelpful.
I was visiting the store this past weekend and as soon as I walked in the greeter told us about the special that was running. I said thank you and that was the end of our conversation. Another group walked in a little after us and she greeted them, told them of the special, and had asked if she could help them find anything in particular. It was as if she thought I wasn’t going to buy anything and didn’t offer to help us with our shopping experience.
Afterwards, we walked around and found a cute pearl set I had had my eyes on for a while. The earrings were attached to the stand so I had asked the same worker if she could help me take the earrings off the display, because I didn’t want to break them accidentally. She came over took them off the display and then walked away. She didn’t ask me if I needed anymore help or if I was interested in buying them.
Since it seemed like my business wasn’t wanted I took it upon myself and walked up all my jewelry to the counter. A bracelet and 2 sets of earrings. As soon as I walked up to the check out counter the cashier looked at me and walked away from the register. Which I thought was odd, because she had been cashiering the whole time and decided it was time to step away as soon as a customer walked up. So we patiently waited and she turned back around and had asked if we were ready to check out. I said of course with a handful of jewelry.
When she was checking us out I had asked her if it’s customary to walk up to the check out counter with the jewelry and she laughed and said no, someone should have been helping you. I replied no, no one helped me which is why I brought everything up to the counter. I apologized if that messed anything up on her end but she just ignored me and asked the back end to bring up my jewelry.
The first time I had gone in there was also a similar experience. The staff are not helpful and are rude to customers they might believe aren’t going to buy anything or just like to profile customers.
I’m sure you get a handful of customers that walk in and leave. But nonetheless everyone should be treated equally.
I hope this gets the attention to the right person.
