5 /5 Andrew Sanderson: This is a tapas style restaurant right on beach Avenue. As with all places with prime real estate, you are paying for location as well as food, so any discussion around value should take that into account. For us, we are good paying more for a great location.
The service was really good and hospitable. Yes, it was slower than we would have liked, but that is the nature of tapas places in prime time.
The food was superb with the mussels stealing the show. The pan tomate was good- not great. The frites were also very good, although we asked for ketchup, and it never arrived.
The paella was good, and was a tad salty for our taste, but salt levels are deeply personal so I cannot take away any points for that as it might be perfect for your tastes, and this dish is made hundreds of times and a little extra pinch of salt can happen on a busy night. Outside of the salt level, the dish was really good. We started the night off with ceviche as it was spot on.
We also enjoyed a solid dessert of tiramisu and their sangria was top notch.
Definitely worth a trip.
