1 /5 Rachel Penoyer: Quite disappointed in todayâs visit. I scheduled an appointment for my fiancĂ© and I, for today. Thought everything would be perfect since they were accommodating and helpful up until the visit. I called with confirmation on what I would be paying Out of pocket with my insurance. They assured me that I wouldnât have to pay anything and that my insurance covered my new patient exam. Itâs not a big deal, people make mistakes, including myself, but I ended up having to pay $41 out-of-pocket. $30 co-pay, $11 for a cleaning. I got my exam done in the morning and they went over my health treatment plan. Unfortunately, I could not afford to drop $6000 on my needed dental work, and was advised against jumping onto one of the financing plans by a few people who had mishaps with aspen. I was still appreciative that they had a plan set out for me. I paid for the co-pay and my cleaning. I returned later that afternoon to get it completed. I also returned with my fiancĂ© for their appointment. Everything was good for myself mostly, other than The miscommunication on what Iâll be paying out-of-pocket And the up selling sales vibes I experienced while there. As far as my fiancĂ© goes, we both had specified multiple times that she was an established patient and that we wanted to take care of a chipped tooth from a previous bonding that She had got at Aspen prior to her visit today. They assured my fiancĂ© that they would be taking care of the chip today. Originally we had gone to the Aspen dental location in Cape Coral. This office was great. They always took care of her problem at hand. Unfortunately, they went through and dealt with her as if she was a new patient. Redoing the x-rays the 3-D scan ECT. All of that wouldâve been fine as long as we had our initial issue resolved. They created another treatment plan For her and we sat there thinking why they would do this if she was at an Aspen, not even six months ago. So not only did she not have the bonding corrected, By the end of it, we were frustrated and just ended up leaving before they brought us into a separate office to go over her treatment plan. I thought it would be a good idea to try out a new dentist for myself, but unfortunately, this is not it for me, and they have also lost another patient that was already established within their network. I was weary reading Aspen dental Reviews, but thought I would give them a chance. I highly recommend that people do their research and take into consideration the multiple people who have had issues here. Hopefully this practice and Aspen as a whole will prioritize their patients needs and be understanding of them.
