Tutu Johnson I came in with five children, and let me tell you—this place handled it like pros! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and completely at ease. Gian, the receptionist, was so friendly and efficient, setting a great tone right away. Can’t forget Indiana she’s so sweet fast and polite. Ana and Mel, the dental assistants, were absolutely amazing with the kids—gentle, patient, and reassuring. Then we met the main attraction—Dr. Verwest! He’s incredibly knowledgeable and confident, and you can just tell he truly cares about his patients. The entire office is built with children in mind. At first, I was unsure about their “no parents in the back” policy, but they do such a great job of easing the kids into the experience that my worries disappeared. The way they create comfort and trust before even taking them back is impressive. The playroom is a bonus for parents! There’s an attendant named Nickolena who watches over the children and gives moms a much-needed break. Her joyful spirit fills the room, and she’s actually a children’s author too—check out her book “Bug Jake” by A.J. Loves! This office is a dream for families. If you’re in Fort Myers and need a pediatric dentist, this is the place. Friendly, organized, fun, and full of heart!

Katerina Christenson Ana did an amazing job with my daughter! Made her feel comfortable and safe so she could get her cleaning, X-rays, and exam done. Which is a lot for a child with Down syndrome. She had patience and waited for when she was ready.

Lisa P Pier Good place to get your teeth cleaned and have an annual check-up. I have been going to them for years. But, they have been raising their prices a substantial amount for things such as root canals, ect. If you have to pay out of pocket always call them first or get an estimate. Prices change like the weather. One person says one price another person says a different price. Be prepared, not surprised. BTW, Lidiana is one of the best hygienists!

Marsha Mckibben The extractions were great better than I expected. The temporary teeth however are terrible. I know swelling has to go down I know it take time to get used to something. But I also know that after a month or so and three adjustments. I should be able to bite something if I bite something the back comes out. I I have to wear liners because they hurt so bad. I thought the last adjustment worked but it still hurts my gums, cuts in. I really think that when Im ready for permanent teeth,Im going somewhere else. If I have to pay for things to be fixed Im going to get them done by somebody that I feel comfortable with. The only time I seen a dentist was when they were extracted. There was no impression taken I dont care about that new fangled thing they have cuz it doesnt work. I have pictures of how bad my teeth were put together originally. Like I said I cant eat so I have lost some weight. Staff is cordial and nice. Dentist was good. But whoever makes their teeth is horrible. I have a friend that had theirs made there and said theyre temporaries were great but their permanent ones were horrible. This will never be published cuz out of 20 pages I read not one bad review give me a break.

Tricia Lenart My name is Tricia Walters and I recently had a first time ever part one of a deep cleaning from Angela. Im pushing 50 and have anxiety when it comes to anything related to a "white coat worker". The CARE that Angela gave me was absolutely perfect for me! She was kind and thorough with my emotional and physical needs!! For a first time and all the negative feedback Ive heard from others really had me terrified but by the end of the visit, I felt very comfortable with her and her work. Ive never thought Id say this but Im looking forward to have her work on part 2 of my cleaning. My mouth feels better than it has in so many years I cant even remember and I thank Angela at community dental for making my anxiety calm down and show me I really had nothing to worry about. Cathleen Hurley Dentist and Hygienist were great. My only complaint is that office business should be discussed at reception or prior to your appointment; not when sitting in the chair. Also, please realize when someone has had the same insurance for 20-30 years they may have a better understanding of it than you. You shouldn’t argue with them but try to understand them instead.

Burhan Ozfidan I am very surprised by this high Google rating, as it definitely does not reflect reality. I personally did not have a good experience with them. The staff was rude and did not seem knowledgeable about their work. I had to find answers to some of my questions myself because they did not adequately address them. Additionally, they are the most expensive place I have encountered. Last year, my wife had a root canal done here, but when we visited a different dentist this year, the tooth had to be pulled because the root canal was performed poorly. The new dentist even commented on the poor quality of the work. Do not rely on their high Google ratings; I truly have no idea how they received such positive feedback. Something does not seem right.

Faith Childress I’m a new patient at this practice. The front desk staff are welcoming and friendly, and worked hard to schedule a multiple-visit procedure just a few days apart. They explained the billing process clearly. Yuliete in the hygienist department was friendly, professional, and efficient. She put me at ease and answered all of my questions about the procedure. Finally, Dr Teder was welcoming, professional, and patiently answered my questions. I’m happy that I am now established at this practice!

They don’t waste your time at all. They even chose what you are going to need done immediately and then what can be done later on. Rhonda Regalbuto Is was with my husband at his first appointment yesterday. I was so impressed with Dr Blonco and his assistant, that I decided to make an appointment for myself. To my surprise, I was able to have my consult right away, and was brought into the room, sat in the chair, and a few minutes later I was getting xrays done. Everyone in this office was absolutely wonderful. Very professional, informative, answered all my questions, very caring and personable. Was a delightful experience and I highly recommend!!

Carbon Iam I went in for full set of dentures. The tec made the molds and fitted the dentures. I told her they me me want to vomit. She told me I had to get used to them. she wanted to take a picture of them in my mouth but I couldnt even smile cuz I wanted to vomit. I walk out of there at dental office with the dentures in the little blue case that they gave them to me and I tried to get used to him I never could.I tried so much it made my gums hurt. $7850.00 down the drain. I have lost 25 pounds now. Never smiled oce never took ONE BITE OF FOOD. The Doctor would not consider a refund he just told me to come back in. and I cant come back in I dont trust them anymore. the dentures are still in the blue plastic case as they were when I walked out of the office. NEVER PREPAY THIS WILL HAPPEN TO YOU!

Plan All I have never had a worst experience. Ever in my entire life at a dental office. I went to great expressions location as a new patient for the first time. The appointment was to be for intake as well as cleaning. When I got there, I was ushered into a room and told the cost. I had to correct them because they had not included my insurance info for the cost. They went back to fix the cost. When they came back, they took for to another room for xrays. We waited about fifteen minutes while they played with the computer system because it wasnt working. We went to another room for xrays and I requested a small mouth insert for the xrays because inside my mouth is small and they usually use a child size insert so I dont gag and get injured in my mouth in order to take xray. She ignored me for couple of picture until she saw how much I struggled. She switched to the smallest size they had but it was still difficult. She had to take multiple xrays because it was hard to fit the instrument in my mouth after about 10 xray I had gagged and cried so much that I I stopped her and said I cant take this torture anymore. At this time the dentist heard me and came in the room to say they had no smaller inserts because they are not a pediatric dental center. I found that hard to believe that no adults had my the size of my mouth. I am not a big woman but there are lots of women my size out there. She said to take my time and suffer through it all. I regretfully allowed them to take over 25 xrays while I gagged and cried through out. I should have walked out in hindsight. It was the most horrible experience I had ever had in my 62 years of going to the dentist. Then the doctor comes in to examine and I find out my cleaning was not even scheduled. They lied to me that was included. This office is run so badly. The scheduling team is not the people at the office so you dont know what you get when you get there. They did not have any appointments for cleaning for another two weeks after I had waited months for that appointment. And they got my insurance info wrong again when estimating. And the time I accepted was different than the time they texted me and when I told her she just shrugged! I guess they are used to chaos. I will not go back and I recommend you go elsewhere as well if you dont want to be treated like an animal.

Charles Quackenbush They provide competent dental service but do not care if you are having a dental emergency. I have been a patient for years and twice I have needed to see them for an emergency and I was told not to come in because they were all booked. The first time they said they would not even call their other offices and could not help me. The second time the girl on the phone asked me whose appointment she should cancel to fit me in! Then she told me the office manager would call which, of course, never happened. They really dont give a damn about you. Just a big company raking in the money...but not mine anymore!

Katharine Oliver We always receive kindness and all of my concerns and questions are appropriately addressed. Everyone respects my decisions as a parent and supports us as partners in my children’s dental health even when suggested protocols are not desired path I choose. My youngest has a more difficult time and Dr Gideon is soooo wonderful with her. She is patient, talks her through everything, willing to show her how all of the tools work and truly gives her time to be comfortable. She has been the best for my sweet little one who has needed some emergency dental procedures! The office staff is great and the manager will address any concerns promptly and accurately! Claudia De Leon Fiduciary duty was broken today. Dr. Matthew Freedman was my orthodontist who did my Invisalign treatment years ago. I trusted him with my care and spent $6,000 to $7,000 on his services. I recently returned to his office in distress—with numbness in my upper lip, nose, gums, and bite after a veneer procedure. I believed he would help me—he had in the past. Instead, I was dismissed. He didn’t take x-rays. He didn’t examine me properly. He looked at my face and said “it looks good,” even after I explained that my mouth shakes when I close it, my speech changed, and one veneer had fallen out three times in a month. He told me to go see Dr. Mendez (who doesn’t take my insurance) and spend another $7,000. This isn’t care—it’s abandonment. I had been wearing the retainer he gave me until just two months ago. I returned because I believed in his work. I even came back twice that day—at 7:45 a.m. and again at 10:45 a.m.—begging for x-rays. I was gaslighted. Maria, the assistant who scanned my mouth, wouldn’t face me. I left feeling betrayed, mistreated, and scared. If you want real medical care, be warned. This office gave me none.

Priscilla Brice Dr. Freedman at Mainstreet Smiles & Orthodontics is amazing! The entire staff is friendly and their expertise in dentistry is outstanding! I wish I could give 10 stars. My son’s experience here was extremely smooth & easy! All details were thoroughly explained verbally & in written form. The entire procedure was about 30 minutes tops from beginning to end which included the initial consultation to putting on the braces & checking out. This establishment exceeded my expectations & both my son & I left very satisfied.

We were in the waiting room no more than 5 minutes before they called us back. My son needed two root canals and they got us in next day for the first one. I showed up with two broken teeth, was seen right away, was given a choice of what work was done and the front office went above and beyond to help with insurance. They even handled my never-ending questions gracefully. Got a crown, tooth extraction and a filling and guess what? No pain. Just make an appointment!

I hadnt been to a dentist in a few years and it needed a lot of work done, from general cleaning to a couple cracked, very painful teeth. The person I spoke to on the phone was great, they found an opening with half the wait any other offices had. They worked with my schedule and my insurance to get as much done as quickly and cheaply as possible. They developed a very sensible plan to get everything taken care of i needed. They were very honest and upfront about everything. Every person I encountered was amazing, the front desk and financial girls were always incredibly polite and friendly. The dental assistant and hygienist were both very efficient, friendly, professional, and super knowledgeable. The dentist himself was also great, very quick and high quality work. He made sure to explain everything and keep me well informed so i knew what to expect. Also very careful about making sure I was properly numb. Overall a great team. They made my situation with all the work I needed done as stress free as possible. I very much appreciate everything they did for me and highly recommend them.

The dental hygienist who saw me did an amazing job (I forgot her name but she has a Latin accent). My dentist was great too, I forgot who I had but he seemed like he was Latin as well. Already made an appointment to go back again in 6 months. There was a really cute little dog too who prances around the office.
