1 /5 Rebecca Duty: Car broke down on the highway and I was towed to this shop. First, the owner has terrible people skills. Secondly, he doesnt give a crap about whats really wrong with your car, he just tells you the most expensive price and hooks you. He tried to tell me that my fuel pump is dead. I said, no, I just had that replaced 2-3 months ago. Wouldnt listen to me. Drops my fuel tank, and lo and behold, the pump is fine. Then tells me that my issue is a rusted fuel neck. Now, my car is a used 2001 Mustang thats been run hard by the previous owners. Ive had a rusty fuel neck since I got it. Thats not going to the the reason my car turned off the engine on the highway. Regardless of what I said, he swore thats what the issue was and Itd cost me 700 dollars. I finally said whatever, had his tech drive myself, my mother, and my things to a hotel in Tallahassee, and had my boyfriend pick me up. We drove back that Friday and towed my car home. He charged me $80 because he dropped my gas tank. Came home, put some gas in the car and she fired right up. Put some quicksilver on my fuel neck and shes been running just fine ever since. .
