2 /5 Ashley Melendez: My visit at Avaline was off to a great start during my pedicure. I love my pedicure and would have gone back just for that alone but what diminished my experience was how long it took to get my nails done. I had been there since 3:30, finished my pedicure around 4:30 and sat past 7 getting basic French acrylics. For the amount of time that it took and the amount of times the nail tech said she sees everything and wants them to be perfect, I expected my nails to be amazing. I was exhausted from sitting in that chair and was ready to leave, after leaving and looking my nails over I see the clear coat is uneven, under my nails has excess acrylic, nails are curving and honestly don’t like the length or shape of my nails. For the amount of money and time spent here I would have liked to have a relaxing time and the nails I would be happy to show off. If it weren’t for me having to travel the day after I would have gone back to get it fixed but now I will just be cutting them off.

2 /5 crystal noelle: I had a pedicure done, they didnt try to upsell the pedicure which I would have done the parfin wax with it if I had known they offered it. The gel paint on my toes I was not satisfied not all. My nails they started wifh one tech who put the tips on and she put on multiple nails crooked the second tech did her best to work with it but I didnt like thst the had me switch during the middle for the other nail tech to get her nails done. Just didnt seem professional. I had to come home and file my nails alot because they where still bulky and not exactly what I was looking for as far as shaping goes but I didnt want to be so difficult as I already made alot of request to the 2nd nail tech . And I knew Id be able to file them to my liking myself at home. They made sure my daughter was content while I got my nails done. The offered water and a phone charger . My issue is that the nails do not flow they are different shapes and lengths and I had to do alot of work at home to get them closeness in shape. Some nails had a curve to them and some were more bulky and longer than others. Im not going to even post my nails becuz Im really not happy with how bulky they look in the pictures

5 /5 Gwen Jeffers: Lyn always does a phenomenal job. Techs check in with you throughout the process to make sure you love how everything looks. I’ve never had to wait super long even as a walk-in. They even have a boba bar, and will serve you the best Vietnamese iced coffee while you’re getting a pedicure.

Archer Nail Studio Fort Lauderdale - Fort Lauderdale Geraldine Davila: I recently visited Archer Nail studio expecting a professional and satisfactory experience. Unfortunately, thats not what I got. I got booked with an inexperienced nail artist who didn’t do what I asked for, hurted me really badly, took 3 hours and didn’t finish her job. They made me pay, promising they will redo it for free next time since I was rushing for an international flight. I was surprised when I called the salon 1 week after coming back from my trip, and walked all around with bloody sticky uneven awful nails, the owner told me he wasn’t gonna fix it for free because it was a long time and he didn’t know about it. It was after I left a google review that he called me and made me remove the review if I wanted them to fix my nails, I accepted it because I was not going to lose all my money. I went there again for my nails to be fixed with another nail artist, this time it went well. I was very happy at first but just 4 days after my appointment, my nails are already chipped, and even broken! I paid for a service (acrylic) that it’s supposed to last for at least 2 weeks! that’s why the higher price. When I politely brought this to the owners attention, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude saying he wasn’t gonna repair them and I have to pay. To make matters worse, when I asked about their guarantee policy, I was told they offer 2 days guarantee on their work. Thats unacceptable for a business in the service industry. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this place and would advise others to think twice before visiting. Poor customer service and lack of accountability for their work is not worth the risk.Ive tried contacting the salon to express my concerns, but they havent responded. Its clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority here.

Nails Spa BK - Fort Lauderdale Mo’: Brian, who seems to be the manager, was not listening and contradicting himself when I expressed that they did not fully take off the nail glue from my pervious gel tip set. I showed him my nails, and he was, at first, in agreement, that there was nail glue. I had went to get my nails done with them for a plain manicure, no polish or top coat, as I was wanting my nail beds to breathe. Brian agreed to have someone else to buff out and take off the nail glue. They had me soak my fingertips in alcohol, I asked if they could individually wrap them, he said, “oh no, you don’t need that”. I soak them, and Kathy, starts to just buff around the edges of my nail, when the glue was on the entire nail, not just the edges, she then puts cuticle oil on and tells me to wash my hands. I tell her, there is still glue, you did not take it off. She insists “that’s just your nail” when I know for a fact, and Brian himself stated, it was glue. I go to Brian and express my concerns. He stated, “oh no that’s just your nail. I have been doing nails for 20 years, trust me, it’s your nail” I said “Brian, I have had my nails for 32 years and I know what nail glue looks like” he said “I don’t recommend taking off the remaining of the glue, as your nail is so thin” I said “Brian, so you’re saying, that there is nail glue still on my nail. What happens if I would have came for a fill or a new set, would you leave the old glue or take it off?” He gets visibly upset and says “okay fine, sit down, I’ll buff out the glue, but your nails will be really thin” I said “Brian, I don’t trust any of you touching my nails as a moment ago, you said, it’s just your nail, now you’re agreeing it’s glue. I paid $19 for them to botch my nails. I do not recommend this place at all. Here is a visual of the active glue, after they said they “fixed it”

Em Nail Lounge - Fort Lauderdale Victoria M: Em Nail Lounge is the best I’ve found in South Florida and I’m a tough critic when it comes to my manicures and pedicures! Rosie, Athaliah, Natalie, and Ivette are all wonderful and always make me feel welcome and leave feeling beautiful and refreshed. The environment is inviting and calming and the quality of products and work is top notch.

Nails Lux Victoria Park - Fort Lauderdale Leika S: Cathy did my nails and the side nails doesnt have a polish. I told her she missed a spot coz she already putting the final coat and she telling me that she knows what she doing. When im just reminding. And when she check she saw that im right thats the time she put some but there is still she missed spot on other nail. Some nails are bumpy too. I requested dip and regular. The nails are not long and the shape is not really coffin for me. $10 for shape and $10 for extension. Idc for price as long as its good work. I’m just disappointed how she communicate and the work

Riverland Nails Spa - Fort Lauderdale Ulrike Unger: Love this place! Always clean, no long wait times and fast but detailed manicures & pedicures, moderately priced and next to cleanliness, Quality is always on point! I think I found my "home nail place", where I can expect to walk out with pretty, durable and lasting nails! I dont have to hold my breath that a gel manicure chips the same day or nails fall off after 3 days (and no, I am not rough with my nails, I sit on a desk all day) - My praise to them! They are amazing at Riverland Nails. Can highly recommend this spot - they go out of their way to accommodate you: I walked in an hour or so before closing time and they still took me, no faces or rushing nail technicians , here I get what I came for: Gel Mani and Pedi (got both done at the same time by two very patient and friendly ladies)! Thumbs up!
