1 /5 Sylvia manning: Horrible emergency room. 1 doctor and not even a nurse practitioner. Waited 4.50 hours and never seen. A man that came in after me with chest pains waited three hours before he finally complained and they took him. A Latino lady with a little boy with a high fever came in right after me and was still waiting when I finally walked out. Three other patients left while I was there because they were waiting forever ,The only good thing of the whole place was the nice older woman that sat at the desk. I seriously feel bad for the people of this area , I sure wouldnt want this to be my only choice for matters life threatening. Ive worked in the medical field most of my life and never saw an emergency room more pathetic. Sad , sad situation

5 /5 Michelle Eberwein: On our way home from Key West, we had a medical emergency & needed an ER. I have been in a few ERs, working & as a patient. This ER was the best, ever. The front desk taking care of my husband , the nurses taking immediate care of me & the Dr was one of the best. Marathon is definitely is the best of hands there!

5 /5 Cristy Strickland: This place was amazing. Dr Trujillo was great, Nurse Eric was wonderful. They took care of my 8 year old that needed 10 staples so wonderfully. The hospital was clean & professional. Very happy parent with the outcome & visit required on our trip to the Keys.

1 /5 Frankie Corbelli: Sorry i had to take back my 5 stars and delete the nice message i wrote about this hospital because why am i honestly surprised? Not only is this the worst city I’ve ever lived in with two of the worst hospitals in the state, but these doctors and nurses genuinely just care about the paycheck. That’s why they spent all this time fighting for better pay, going on strike, while patients get less and less better treatment. When I have severe panic attacks that cause me to stop breathing, YOU DONT PRESCRIBE THE LOWEST MG MEDICINE ON A FRIKIN HOLIDAY WHERE I CANT EVEN GET IT. I HAVE HAD THE WORST TWO DAYS BECAUSE ALL I WANTED WAS HELP. ITS YOUR FRIKIN JOB TO HELP PEOPLE WITH THE BIGGEST SMILE ON YOUR FACE. Maybe you should take a look at who funds the hospital. Thanks.

5 /5 Emily Truell: I had an emergency appendectomy while on vacation in the keys. My surgeon at Fishermans, Dr. Whitaker, was phenomenal. He was kind and caring and seemed to do a great job. I came to the ER and did not have a long wait. All the staff I interacted with were very kind and helpful. As good an experience as an emergency medical situation on vacation could be.

Orlando Lopez-Roman, M.D., FACG, AGAF - Key West lindsay rabito leonard: I feel so privileged to have met with Dr. Orlando Lopez-Roman. He is one of the most caring doctors I have ever met; caring, takes as much time as necessary and makes you feel that your concerns are important to him. I had unresolved issues for a long time and was beginning to feel hopeless about them, but I left his office feeling everything was going to be ok. We are so lucky to have him in our area. If I could give him more stars, they would be 100.

Sharon V Ward, MD - Key West Robin Nilsson: cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Sharon Ward - from the moment I stepped into the office, I could feel the care and compassion that radiates from her and her team. Dr. Sharon is not only an incredibly skilled and knowledgeable OB/GYN but also someone who truly cares about her patients and the community she serves. Her professionalism and attention to detail are unmatched, and she always takes the time to listen and address any questions or concerns. She makes you feel seen, heard, and valued, which is rare and so appreciated. Beyond her expertise, Dr. Sharon is family-oriented and has a warm, welcoming demeanor that immediately puts you at ease.

Dr. Christina Sawyer, MD - Key West Denise Gardner: I cannot recommend Dr. Sawyer, and ALL of the staff at Mt. Sinai, enough. I am new to Key West, and from the start, Dr. Sawyer made us feel welcome, heard, and comfortable with our surroundings. There was never a doubt in my mind that our medical concerns were being addressed in the most professional manner. It sounds crazy, but I cant wait to get sick again, just so that I can go back and see Dr. Sawyer!!!!

George Peterson, MD - Key West Irina Egorova: Best doctor ever!! My entire pregnancy was so smooth and happy because of doctor Peterson and his staff! The most professional, able and caring doctor Ive been to. He takes his time to explain everything and actually listens to your concerns. I trust him completely for all my obgyn needs. The office personnel are very helpful and easy to talk to. The nurse are the best, she knows their patients very well. I only have good things to say about him and his practice! Plus he is an amazing human being with a huge heart!!!

Keys Pediatrics - Key West Marissa Ramirez: Ive been going to this pediatrician for 7 years and 2 kids later. Recently the visits have been with the nurses more frequently then the doctor which is fine. Angela pritts is very knowledgeable she gets down to the bottom of the problem very quickly. She is able to diagnose my son quickly and even helped me clean my sons belly button when he had lint and it was in a area that was hard to get to considering he has an outie. Laura is also great she has many solutions. The staff is very nice and usually very accommodating with a busy schedule.

Edgardo Montemayor, Jr., M.D., FAAFP - Key West Mary VandenBrook: Front desk, Ms. Butler was kind and took care to listen and fit me in an otherwise busy schedule. Dr. Montemayor eas thorough and listened to my concerns. Nursing staff was efficient and I was seen promptly and testing was completed on site. Very glad to have been seen, and get needed care so quickly

Lower Keys Medical Center - Emergency Room - Key West Madisson Gouveia: As other reviews mention, the stuff at LKMC ER are absolutely fantastic. I went in feeling awful, in so much pain. They helped me quickly and gave me the best care to get to back on my feet. Finding yourself in the ER is never pleasant, but they made it so comfortable for me. I don’t remember my triage nurse’s name who gave me a warm blanket and a quick check in, but I appreciate her. I also don’t remember my two sweet nurses names, but they were wonderful. I only remember Dr Caleb’s name who was professional, efficient, straight forward and kind. They all were. I am very appreciative!
