5 /5 Steve Dorofey: They took (Mostly) great care of my Camry here. Solid guys, very trustworthy, prices are just slightly on the higher side but if something goes wrong they will take care of you. Once my big issue was discovered, it seems like they didnt want to work much further on my car though. Worried about me possibly spending money on it and the car failing on me. It was a fair worry, but that led me to go to another shop, as I was not ever going to buy a new/other car. I do not care about my cars "Market Value", so that was never relevant to my decision-making on spending money to fix it. It has since been fixed and the car finally runs brilliantly. They did their part in making sure it got there, alive and well maintained. I would highly recommend the shop :)

They’ve all felt comfortable with every worker there. Many have been there for at least a decade. That’s how you know the owner Matt treats his employees well. Excellent service. Friendly and not intimidating

They never try to sell you anything you don’t need the very very honest this business is run by their family that’s Christian and I trust them 100%, I just brought my Camaro to them today afraid it would be a whole bunch of bad parts radiator leak. The shop was very honest said it was just a couple hoses. I think God that I got to meet this family because I know my car is in a safe environment . Thank you C&z auto. I am a manager at the auto care of Walmart and I send anyone looking for a good mechanic to them because they deserve it. God is good and so is C and Z auto.

Melanie Alvarez: New to the area, my family recommended I go there since they were a long time customer and had a great experience. The business was sold in recent time and things have changed under new ownership. I went there to have my car’s oil and filter changed. As I stated, they were very nice, but quoted me on some “necessary repairs” on my rear differential and engine block that were very pricey for my older car… the repairs were more than the car was worth, and if I were another person, they may have scared me into the repairs. I brought my vehicle to an alternate location for a second opinion. There was nothing wrong with the engine - the “leak” was just oil that was spilled when we added oil once after a long trip. The rear differential was absolutely fine, but the transfer case is having problems. I don’t care how nice someone is, I would have been robbed blind over $4k if I agreed to the quote and had the wrong repairs on top of it. They are riding on the good reputation of the previous owners and that’s just unfortunate. Very sad to know the new shop is attempting to make money dishonestly!

After a thorough inspection, we narrowed down the need for a fresh clutch & flywheel. Skip’s installed a Flyin’ Miata Level 1 clutch with an OE flywheel, and the car feels great! Totally brought it back to life. Labor was quoted at an extremely competitive rate compared to local “big name” shops in the area, and had an excellent turnaround time. Next step will be a turbo kit & dyno tuning, which I will absolutely have this shop do all the work & tuning on. 10/10. When I inevitably break more sh- on this car, I know where I’m taking it!

Matthew Giles: My AC went out and I could self diagnose a bit, but needed a professional to evaluate and do the work. The other guys quoted $500 for a diagnostic and $1,500 - $4,000. I took it to Doug and he did a free diagnostic and found out the compressor was needing replacement and even showed me how it went bad and why. He ordered the part and received it next day, then immediately began work and had my car ready before noon the next day. Super professional, super friendly, and super affordable compared to a larger shop. Ill be going back for any service needs and highly recommend him to anyone that needs an affordable option with top tier customer service and work. Also, Id like to mention that yes he does ask for you to pay upfront for the part. He has to order it and youre asking for him to trust you, when he probably hasnt known you for more than a few minutes, and he has a business to run. Hopefully you understand that covering the cost of the part upfront is a very acceptable business practice and the labor fees are due after the service has been done. I just saw a comment below that seemed to shock the person he would ask for money for the part before starting the job, and it seems unreasonable for him to eat the cost on someone he doesnt know.
