4 /5 Sarah Decoteau: Super cool jungle gym. Fun equipment thats different from the norm, for the most part. The astroturf, though, you walk three steps across it and touch something - anything, including the concrete wall! - and get zapped due to static electricity. Ouch.

4 /5 Amanda K: This is a beautiful, well maintained park-but it needs some kind of shade. The grass is plastic, so in the blazing sun, it feels like death. We had to leave our shoes on or risk third degree burns. Other than that its lovely.

5 /5 Hoyt Hancock: Very active intranquil Park to get in a quick job or dog walk or just hang out in the sun in the grass. Theres a couple small swing sets in miscellaneous jungle gym features and a large amphitheater with an open field that can accommodate roughly 2500 people in a crowd below. If you have the money in the availability is there when you visit Tallahassee theres a wonderful hotel right next to some condos across from the heart of the park. This would be my first selection if I were coming to visit Tallahassee

4 /5 Bunch TheGoofy (Kirsti): Love this area. The only thing I would say is it needs some shade where the kids play. It was literally so hot my child played for maybe five minutes and was ready to go.

Ninth & Terrace Park - Tallahassee Sue Martindale: My grandson had a T-ball game at this park. The field was very nice and perfectly prepared despite the threat of rain. Theres a nice playground adjacent to the field that can be used before or after the game or by siblings. The only downside is a complete lack of parking and that the field is not accessible for Gramps and his walker.

J. R. Alford Greenway - Tallahassee Jennifer Fehr: Great place to walk around and see alligators, turtles and dogs. Easy walk with no elevation - nice views of the water - excellent trails. Better to stay on more walking than MTB trails to avoid bikes. I think we went 3 or 4 miles - there are restrooms at some of the areas and plenty of people so it feels safe.

Treacherous Tallahassee Ghost Tours & Haunted Pub Crawls - Tallahassee Hannah Forehand: The tour guide arrived on time and showed different locations, explaining some of the history and it makes me want to delve into the history of each place more. It was a nice walk and a fun thing to do with friends

Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park - Tallahassee Tomas Vivas: Very glad I kept driving past all the park entrances to find Gate B. Well maintained trail that had a large number of branches making it very repeatable for future trips. Absolutely loved the tranquility and diversity here. Was pleasantly surprised with the bat house, awesome mixing of park and biodiversity maintinence

Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens - Williston Brandy Carley Independent Scentsy Director: Beautiful botanical garden. We came across this place by accident after snorkeling at Devils Den Spring. I was a little concerned because we were still wearing bathing suits with cover ups and sandals. The terrain is very easy to get around, even if you forget your walking shoes. I had questions and the people who checked us is were so nice and helpful addressing our concerns. One of the ladys said I could even go into the waterfall if I wanted to. So happy we were able to, because had we changed from our swimsuits, I would have never gotten to experience it. We had a great time and I would recommend to anyone planning to visit. While we had some light snacks on hand, my only regret is that I would have brought more food to do a picnic lunch.

Watermelon Pond Wildlife and Environmental Area - David Goodhouse: Nice hiking area unique terrain an views with multiple different trails available to walk bike or ride a horse on!

Lil Shark Park - Cedar Key Jorlyn Cook: This place was cute. Not a white sand beach but enjoyable. Bathrooms and first come first serve pavilions provided for use. Kids loved the playground but spent most of their time in the water because the plastic on the playground gets really hot.

Blue Springs Park - Bronson Ross Read: Busy time of day 4pm. Still not a lot of people. They say weekends are packed. Staff is very friendly. Water was a little chilly, but swim over where its about 7 feet deep and warm water comes up from the spring below. The wife enjoyed jumping off the platform. (Roughly 20 feet of water below the platform). $2 entry $1 for 100% disabled vets. Kids under 5 are free.

Hunter Springs Park - Crystal River Debbie Mckone: Beautiful town. The sheriff was on the walk and made a point to stop and talk with everyone. Gave us some history in the town. We saw a manatee. Although our stay was only a couple of hours, we loved the place and will be returning again for a longer stay.
