1 /5 Brent Strickland: QUOTED 850.00 OVER THE PHONE TO BUILD ME A RADIATOR FOR AN LS SWAP. I WAS ASKED TO BRING IN THE OLD RADIATOR SO THEY COULD GET THE PROPER SPECS NEEDED. THE PRICE WENT FROM 850 TO 1350 WHEN I ARRIVED IN PERSON. WHEN I ASKED WHY IT WAS SO MUCH MORE THAN QUOTED HE JUST SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS AND BLAMED IT ON THE COST OF COPPER AND BRASS. I TOLD HIM I APPRECAITE IT AND LEFT WITHOUT BUYING A RADIATOR. CALLED BACK TO SEE IF SOMEONE ELSE COULD EXPLAIN THE ADDITIONAL $500.00 I WAS TOLD HE OWNS THIS SHOP AND HE DOESNT WANT TO DEAL WITH AND HUNG UP. I CAN UNDERSTAND A LITTLE MORE COST BUT $500 SEEMED EXCESSIVE ESPECIALLY WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION OTHER THAN HOW MUCH COPPER COST AND A SHOULDER SHRUG. IM SURE COPPER DID NOT GO UP AN ADDITIONAL $500 IN MATERIALS. DISSAPOINTING BECAUSE IM TIRED OF TRADING ONLINE BUT AT LEAST THE PRICES ARE WRITTEN DOWN AND DONT CHANGE AT RANDOM.

F G: Update: 3 months after we posted this review, the owner replies “funny don’t remember any of this” which is very telling of a company whom we are already giving a one star review to. They didn’t say “call us to see if we can resolve your issue” or “sorry for your experience please call to tell us more so we can better understand what happened” none of that. Instead we are basically called liars months after the review. We don’t lie, we bring receipts. I highly recommend people shop elsewhere because this is now two unprofessional responses to an inconvenience THEY caused. Uncourteous staff. Parts did not arrive in time for our appointment, an inconvenience but understandable. However, no phone call to reschedule our appointment and then they were aggravated with us because we couldn’t leave the vehicle there indefinitely that day or possibly beyond that day. Made a snide comment about not knowing that the vehicle would be getting dropped off and had to be picked up before 2 pm to pick up children from school. Mind you we had a 9 am appointment for a less than 2 hour install. Just to be clear, you are the service provider and you should communicate to your customer. All of this could have been avoided by making a simple phone call asking us to reschedule before our appointment time. Or at least not catching an attitude for something that was not our fault. Never coming back here.

It was a very busy Friday, but management didn’t miss a beat. They addressed the issue quickly, kept us informed, and had us in and out in no time. I was genuinely impressed with how efficiently the entire staff worked—they were turning work orders around nonstop, yet still made time to be courteous and professional. The manager was extremely polite, and despite how busy it was, we never felt like just another number. Solid performance all around—this team knows what they’re doing, and they deliver under pressure. Huge thanks for getting us safely back on the road!

Al: Expensive but efficient! And they wont do anything without you telling them first. I asked for a diagnostic and got a diagnostic. A diagnostic check is $210, and they check electric separate so if you want a diagnostic for anything electric thats another $210. But if you have a Ford vehicle and no other place knows what to do then come here and get it done! The building is very clean and comfortable with two waiting areas, and theres plenty of windows so you can check your car.

I am very devastated with the attitude that I received. I was told I was gonna be charged $100 to drop my vehicle then ended up charging me 105 and they were happy to tell me that if they would’ve taken the vehicle that it would’ve costed me $250 to get it back here’s a photograph of the vehicle in the place that it was parked and as you can see, there is no sign that says that I cannot park there. I’m seeking to take them to court.

Life of Dave: Brought my truck in to have my brakes done, they got to work on my truck within minutes of me getting there. The mechanic was extremely thorough with the road test before and after doing the work, and he did a perfect and professional job replacing my rotors, pads, and two front calipers. Logan is extremely helpful and addressed some of my other maintenance concerns, giving me quotes for the work when I decide to have it done. The shop is clean and organized, the waiting area is quiet and comfortable. Overall I am extremely satisfied with my experience. The guys here know their stuff, theyre polite, professional and competent. Ill definitely be using City Garage in the future.
