  • Treasure Coast Surgical Center - Fort Pierce Deborah Romano: I had to go to have two procedures today. I have never been there. Check-in young lady was polite. The pre-op nurses were so awesome. The two nurses who led me to the procedure room were fabulous. The Dr who put me to sleep was very clever, I didn’t even know or payed attention, very caring. Dr Katta, who is new to me, was very reassuring that all was going to be ok. Bonus: met up with a friend I worked with many yrs ago!
HCA Florida Lawnwood General Surgery - Fort Pierce Claudia Bilby: Always on time. Staff is very caring and efficient. Dr. Hagan gives details about patient follow-up. He is kind and caring. It is comforting to have this special care.
Veterinary Medical Center of St. Lucie County - Port St. Lucie Karin van der Valk: I’m trying to process this as I said every day how thankful I was to still have Ellie. We knew she was living on borrowed time. Last night we thought her breathing spell would end. More and more medication had no effect. We let our rationality be compromised by emotion. Three hours, and her heart couldn’t take it. She was struggling to breathe. She kissed me on the mouth and eyes as she always did during an episode. At the ER she was in an oxygen chamber for approximately 30 minutes and given heart medication. The vet said she might not make it through the night. I hope she forgives me for being selfish before putting her needs first. Dad and I kept thinking she would improve. The vet brought her in to us in a blanket for us to say goodbye. He then administered the medication as I held her little soul slipping away from me. I felt like part of me was slipping away with her. I miss my endless shadow. The house seems empty. She was with me from morning to night. I’m on my pillow she slept on. She would sleep with her head against my cheek. I would hear her heartbeat and breath on my face. Sometimes in the middle of the night, she would kiss me and then reposition herself next to me. She looked at me during her spell and as she always did, she kissed my mouth and eyes. I’ve lost so many fur babies but she was unlike any other. I knew she needed me but I needed her more. She was unconditional love and support. I have a hole in my heart. I pray with time I can fill it with all our beautiful shared times. The doctor and assistants were deeply caring. They surprised us with a beautiful card and clay paw imprint. They were compassionate and said to take as much time with her. She went peacefully in their blanket as I held her. Thank you so much ❤️
Southern Comfort Health, Direct Primary Care - Fort Pierce George Ferreira: The best healthcare staff in the county, they really care about their patients! Dont take insurance, because its bogus, affordable health Care at its best! Best referrals to specialists with great discounts for their patients! Once you try youll never go elsewhere, even do house calls like old-school doctors, now thats caring about their patients! Dr. McCain Ginger and Whitney are the best you wont need anybody!
Torres Maria E MD - Fort Pierce Krystine Sherwood: A lot of patients prefer Dr. Torres because she does in fact speaks with each patient as if they were best friends. Her rates are great and the office is easily accessible. My frustrations are the same frustrations as MANY other patients of hers: She takes WAYYY too long to see you. Ive had appointments where Im scheduled at 1 and will not be seen until 5! That is 4 HOURS OF WAITING! Sometimes, even longer! It is absolutely terrible and EXTREMELY inconsiderate. Ive witnessed (while waiting SO LONG) other patients asking each other when their appointments are only to find out 4 PATIENTS were booked for the SAME exact time. Its unacceptable. Going in there myself for various family members is always a task and ALL DAY AFFAIR. Getting Dr. Torres to get to the point and give her professional advice is like pulling teeth. Its like she wants to socialize instead of giving a diagnosis and move on to the next person. Its extremely aggravating. If it werent because my whole family goes to her, I would find someone else who is more considerate of my time and concerns. Dr. Torres might be an excellent internist, but a lesson in time management, and customer service is a DEFINITE. I have no idea how she still has patients.
Florida Heart Center - Fort Pierce Robert E: I like Dr Ooi but the patient portal NEVER works. I sign in and the only records that show are from 5 years ago.
Cardiovascular Consultants - Fort Pierce William Parrish: Called. Got an appointment took a day off from work. Drove from vero beach to ft pierce and they canceled my appointment in my face. Said there was rules they have to go by. Im having issues with my chest and heart. Been trying to get into a cardiologist for 2 weeks. And they send me away. How can they do that.
Martin Emergency Center at St. Lucie West - Port St. Lucie elchulitoriko: I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the treatment and care we received during our recent visit to the emergency room at Martin Emergency Center. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a receptionist who exhibited unprofessional behavior, including specific instances of impolite behavior, such as rolling his eyes, sighing loudly, or speaking condescendingly. During our stay, we experienced numerous issues: * The registered nurses demeanor was rude and dismissive. The whole time he was rude and unprofessional behavior, such as interrupting us, making snide remarks, and refusing to answer our questions. * The facility was visibly unclean and dirty floors. * The registered nurse seemed disinterested in my concerns and provided inadequate care. I felt rushed and dismissed throughout my visit. * The registered nurse frequently interrupted me while I was attempting to explain my symptoms and the circumstances surrounding my injury. We believe that the treatment we received fell far short of the standards of care expected from a reputable healthcare facility. The actions of the staff involved were unprofessional and disrespectful. I would appreciate it if you would investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to address the concerns I have raised.
HCA Florida St. Lucie Medical Specialists - Ft. Pierce - Fort Pierce Jennifer McGuire: Neglectful practice. Never experienced having to call in order to get explanations of test and treatment. Never get a call back after communicating that I’m experiencing symptoms. Avoid this practice. Better safe than sorry.
Florida Department of Health - St. Lucie - Port St. Lucie Gabrielle Bojorquez: I came in without an appointment to get a birth certificate printed. They were great. Extremely fast. Very kind. Very clean building. They had books for the kids while we waited. Leticia was great
