1 /5 Krystine Sherwood: A lot of patients prefer Dr. Torres because she does in fact speaks with each patient as if they were best friends. Her rates are great and the office is easily accessible. My frustrations are the same frustrations as MANY other patients of hers: She takes WAYYY too long to see you. Ive had appointments where Im scheduled at 1 and will not be seen until 5! That is 4 HOURS OF WAITING! Sometimes, even longer! It is absolutely terrible and EXTREMELY inconsiderate. Ive witnessed (while waiting SO LONG) other patients asking each other when their appointments are only to find out 4 PATIENTS were booked for the SAME exact time. Its unacceptable. Going in there myself for various family members is always a task and ALL DAY AFFAIR. Getting Dr. Torres to get to the point and give her professional advice is like pulling teeth. Its like she wants to socialize instead of giving a diagnosis and move on to the next person. Its extremely aggravating. If it werent because my whole family goes to her, I would find someone else who is more considerate of my time and concerns. Dr. Torres might be an excellent internist, but a lesson in time management, and customer service is a DEFINITE. I have no idea how she still has patients.

She went over all of my records and all of my issues offering advise, prescriptions, testing, and follow up appt. She is intelligent, empathetic and highly educated. She also has a friendly and welcoming personality.

That being said, because they are part of an HMO, their patient load is rather large, and wait times can be long. But every patient gets time with her. She will listen.And the office staff is always kind, courteous and professional.

1 /5 Heather Wilkerson: I made an appointment back in May, Provided all my information to get an appointment for June 22 and when I called to confirm, 1. they did not have me in their system 2. the lady blamed me asking if I was calling the right office, 3. apparently it has never happened before. Based on the staff response I say stay far far away.

1 /5 Linda M: This doctor does not call in refills of prescriptions. She also has no sense of urgency. I have been calling AND faxing to request refills on prescriptions for over 2 weeks now and NO RESPONSE!! So one question....how am I supposed to give myself an insulin injection without syringes? How do I maintain my medicines if she suddenly will not call in a refill? I was also supposed to be referred to a neurosurgeon 2 months ago...THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I was supposed to be referred to a general surgeon for a different issue 4 months ago and THAT NEVER HAPPENED. This doctor put me on insulin, gave me instructions on how many units to use according to my blood sugar and she never wrote it in my chart. Thank God my prescription had the info. NOW I am out of celebrex and cannot get her to respond. I have requested it now for over 2 months with no response. My pharmacy sent in a request which was denied. The office NOW tells me she is on vacation in the Philippines and can only respond at night. THAT NEVER HAPPENS EITHER. New doctor as of tomorrow thank God!

Martin Emergency Center at St. Lucie West - Port St. Lucie elchulitoriko: I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the treatment and care we received during our recent visit to the emergency room at Martin Emergency Center. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a receptionist who exhibited unprofessional behavior, including specific instances of impolite behavior, such as rolling his eyes, sighing loudly, or speaking condescendingly. During our stay, we experienced numerous issues: * The registered nurses demeanor was rude and dismissive. The whole time he was rude and unprofessional behavior, such as interrupting us, making snide remarks, and refusing to answer our questions. * The facility was visibly unclean and dirty floors. * The registered nurse seemed disinterested in my concerns and provided inadequate care. I felt rushed and dismissed throughout my visit. * The registered nurse frequently interrupted me while I was attempting to explain my symptoms and the circumstances surrounding my injury. We believe that the treatment we received fell far short of the standards of care expected from a reputable healthcare facility. The actions of the staff involved were unprofessional and disrespectful. I would appreciate it if you would investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to address the concerns I have raised.

Never get a call back after communicating that I’m experiencing symptoms. Avoid this practice. Better safe than sorry.

HANDS of St. Lucie County - Fort Pierce The Wildcat: Had a decent year of appts here and was fairly happy with the care. In past 4 visits, I was treated for diabetes, hypertension, sinus infection, chronic shingles, suspected a bacterial skin infection like MRSA and after shingles that can develop into a rash with pussy boils. No one in past 4 visits seemed to have any answers or ideas to try to clear up my sinuses or face rash. So I went twice to walkin clinic. He referred me to Ear, nose, and throat. The damage from 8 months untreated sinus infection has created 90 percent scar tissue in my nose, hypertrophy, septum perforation. And still sinuses are not done with treatment, but most lilely will need a surgery or daily nebulizer treatments for long term. At no point were my complaints during these visits met ith any urgency. I had an MRI and head xray. Tons of bloodwork. Meanwhile migrainez, swelling, and nearly sleep 12-15 hours a day trying to recover. Today was the final appt for me. I saw DR Ionnedes. Derm. Treated me once before for shingles. Basically retold my symptoms over and over every visit. Today as well. You will always get a different person. You will always get met with disbelief. As if Im loving the attention and want to be at the doctors every week. This is not psychological and Im not a doctor. This is why I come to you. Please tell me what auto immune disease I have and why at 43 years old I wake up nearly crippled in pain everyday ? I left in tears today. Was treated as if my cigarettes and 20 lbs of belly fat and diabetes is why I deserve to be ill. I was told Im in denial, that I needed to "Stop picking" at my rash, and get my diabetes under control. In addition to many things I have lost 50 lbs in past 2 years and my A1C was 7.0 and worked very hard to get these things in control. I cant explain all of it in one review but no patient should leave feeling like they deserve whatever illness they have for being negligent. We are here because we need care. We have no insurance. We have been denied by medicaid. Most of us are working fulltime and have no other way to survive except our health. Be careful how you address anyone and ask questions before you assume I even knew I had diabetes a year ago. I did not know. I just found put 7 mths or so ago. Thank you to the clinic, please retrain your staff on poverty and why they are there volunteering.

And have to physically drive there to get a prescription refilled because they’re lazy and don’t pick up the phone or mail boxes are full! If I had another way to get another place to get my son help I would! SMH!

Dr. Leycegui sits you down and goes over past and present blood work and compares it right in front of you. He listens to your every need and he will explain things in detail to help you understand why your blood work may be off. He does not rush you while you are in his off. He gives each patient the amount of time they need in order for him to properly care for you the way the doctor should care for their patients. Dr. Leycegui is worth every penny I spend. I know that he cares for his patients and he loves the job that he does. There is no other doctor like him. He is the best! I’m very thankful that I have him as my doctor. Thank you for caring so much about your patients.

Bower Urology - Fort Pierce Steve Russell: Dr.Bower and his staff are outstanding. I have had 3 different Urologists in 3 different states over many years and have never received better care. He is thorough, extremely knowledgeable and professional. I have experienced several times issues where I needed immediate care. He fits me in the same day and always has resolved the issue. I highly recommend Dr.Bower and his team.

SaludVIP Fort Pierce - Fort Pierce Donald Dziatkiewicz: At 68 years of age, I have been to more doctors over the years, and I have to say the team at SaludVIP is the most caring and attentive than any of the others. Too many times I have felt like my doctor wasnt even listening to me, or they were just going through the motions, wanting to move me along and get to their next appointment as quickly as possible. Here I have had conversations with Dr Luis who is willing to listen and even debate me about my understanding of my health, eventually knowing how to explain what he sees and how his prescribed treatment is the best path forward. I have already tried to convince my wife to switch, and if you are looking for a new primary care physician, I hope you will consider SaludVIP!

HCA Florida Healthcare at Home - Port St. Lucie - Fort Pierce Ray Parker: Five doctors in six months and after waiting three months to get into see a doctor for medication refills because I am diabetic, they would not see me because even though I prequalified with new insurance when they were heart and Family, they dropped my insurance and would not let me see the doctor without insurance or paying 100 percent out of pocket after changing owners. Over the course of six months I saw Dr. Eisenburg(quite), Dr. Gardener (quite), Dr. Dayrizel (Maternity), Doctor who I did not even get a chance to see more than once before she quite, and a fifth doctor who I never saw because they dropped my insurance. Stay clear of this practice!
