3 /5 Lucus Wilkins: The medical dental experience was great. However, billing was below average. Even though my insurance covered a free cleaning. They placed fluoride on my teeth after the procedure without explaining there would be an up charge. They provide service and then explain the charges only after the procedure. Providing up front cost to procedures and check ups would be a best practice and build trust among the patients. This was my second visit. My first experience was similar. X-rays were taken then I was asked to sit in the waiting room after the procedure, then again called back to pay my co-pay. Then a week later I received an additional charge with no explanation as to why. It wasn’t until my second visit that the charge was explained and was told if I don’t agree I can call my insurance and then call them back to possibly credit my account. My advice to those who use this location is to ask for charges upfront and then request that any additional services be explained before being provided.
