5 /5 Sam Leibo: This doctor is quite exceptional, from our first meeting with him my wife and I knew we had to look no further for a surgeon. Although he was very professional, he made you feel comfortable that you could actually look towards having surgery without any inhibitions. It certainly was a good experience, minimum discomfort with a tiny and neat incision by this very skilled doctor. We certainly recommend him, he treats you as if you’re one of his friends. He’s awesome, what a great experience, I’m up and enjoying my life in less than a week. Thank you Dr. Paul!

5 /5 Linda Nelson: Dr Paul is a fabulous doctor! I truly appreciate his vast knowledge and experience. He is always upbeat, great personality. He is very understanding and caring. I highly recommend this great physician. He made me feel at ease and confident from the first time we met. I had a laparoscopic cholecystectomy ( gallbladder removal) and I am amazed at how quickly I am recovering and how minimal my scars are.

1 /5 Tiffany Mason: BEWARE!!!!! Do NOT use this Dr!!!!! Removed a huge lipoma. Did not order any scans or mri before surgery. He is NOT qualified to remove that size I should have been referred to a plastic surgeon. DOES NOT call back!!!! DOES NOT call the wound care nurse back. Got an infection and took over 24 hours to call in an antibiotic RN was calling his office non stop and no call or email back. Never discharged me from the nurse company. REMOVED MUSCLE AND TISSUE FOUND IN PATHOLOGY REPORT. no call back for pain meds. A year later and still cannot reach above my head or bend over without severe pain. Your quality of life will be taken away by the hands of this Dr. GE DOES NOT CARE. Google reviews are fake!! He is beyond rude and just wants the insurance money once the surgery is done he’s done with you.

2 /5 Paul Ferrera: My hernia surgery performed by this gentleman was not what I was told it would be. I had originally asked for a laparoscopic procedure but he made a vague reference about something to do with mesh from a prior laparoscopic hernia repair Id had years previously on the opposite side of my groin. He downplayed the severity of the pain aspect and the resulting recovery time by telling me that it was no big deal, "just a small incision and youll be up and around in a couple of days". I was flat on my back for 4+ days and wasnt pain free until seven weeks. Prior to the surgery he made no mention of the acute bruising that occurred from my groin area to my scrotum, later saying this was to be expected. When I last saw him after the surgery and voiced my concerns he stated that he didnt like to do laparoscopic repairs "because 1 in !0 patients dont make it out of the operating room!". Totally not true, just Google it. Laparoscopic procedure is actually safer than the open or traditional repair procedure.

While I cannot speak to Dr. Paul’s personal competence as a physician, the unprofessional and rude behavior I encountered when calling his office raises serious concerns about this practice as a whole. I called to inquire whether Dr. Paul performs surgeries for a range of anorectal conditions, such as: Hemorrhoids Rectal cancer Anal fissure Anal abscess Anal cancer Anal stenosis Rectal prolapse Pilonidal disease Rectocele Ulcerative colitis These are all conditions listed on his website as being within his expertise, with corresponding surgical procedures tailored to each. However, the person who answered the phone rudely and definitively stated that he does not perform these surgeries. This response directly contradicts the information provided on his website and left me questioning the reliability and professionalism of this practice. We specifically chose our insurance policy based on Dr. Paul’s supposed expertise in these areas. To be met with hostility and what seems to be misinformation from the office staff was not only frustrating but also disheartening. It speaks volumes about the organization and oversight within this practice. A simple phone inquiry was mishandled so poorly that it completely eroded my trust in this office. I believe the person who answered the phone is in the wrong role. If they cannot communicate respectfully and accurately about basic services, it reflects poorly on the entire practice. It also leads me to question the level of care and attention to detail patients might receive once under their care. For something as critical as surgery, trust and confidence in the medical team are paramount, and this practice has failed to meet even the most basic expectations. While I cannot judge Dr. Paul’s surgical skills, I am grateful that the rude phone interaction occurred before proceeding any further. It served as a red flag, signaling deeper systemic issues. I would not feel comfortable entrusting my wife’s health—or anyone’s health—to a practice that cannot even manage accurate communication about its services. I encourage potential patients to think carefully before choosing this practice. The lack of professionalism, clarity, and courtesy I experienced does not inspire confidence, and I would suggest seeking care elsewhere.
