1 /5 Callie Bullock: I would appreciate the availability of a rating option that allows for no stars. There are a few Certified Nursing Assistants who demonstrate care within this facility. However, the healthcare providers level of professionalism is lacking, as they fail to maintain open communication with the family. Instances of deceit are prevalent, often used to conceal their own neglectful behavior. Regrettably, individuals in the final stages of life are sometimes left to endure a slow and excruciating passing due to lack of timely intervention, justified by the unconscious state of the patient. One particularly distressing incident involved Christy, who callously informed a grieving spouse that they needed to make arrangements for the patients discharge home on March 8th, only for the patient to pass away that very night. Christys actions in this regard are deplorable and merit deep reflection.
The family had to specifically request pain medication to alleviate the patients suffering, who was experiencing the death rattle. Despite clear indications of distress, it is likely that this was the first time his vital signs were actually monitored. Additionally, it is crucial to note that just before his passing this past Monday, he was left seated in a wheelchair for an extensive period of 5 hours - a fact disclosed by one of the CNAs, who initially attempted to downplay the duration by suggesting it was shortly after lunch.
Given these distressing circumstances, I wholeheartedly advise against entrusting the care of your loved one to this facility during their final moments.
