5 /5 Christine Ballewske: Had emergency surgery there with Dr.Fiorucci, he was wonderful as well as all, but 2 staff members, an older nurse in the ER, she was down right mean and I was in EXTREME PAIN! She kept telling me to knock off my moaning, said that she would tell the doctor not to come into evaluate me if I kept crying, I didn’t… I had a perforated ulcer, and could have died!! I had one baaaadddd cleaning crew, but every nurse, doctor and physician assistants were wonderful!

1 /5 Sharon Revels: My Aunt was pushed out because they couldnt find anything wrong. Ok i get that sometimes no matter how hard a diagnosis is beyond reach. So her daughter asked if someone could possibly help her get a bed, portable potty chair, a wheelchair and possibly a nurse and physical therapy for her at home, they gave her NOTHING and didnt even point her in the right direction. I thought a hospital was supposed to HELP. Apparently not this one. Patient counselor dont help, doctors dont help. I know hospice offers palitive care but they need doctors orders. So Arcadia your hospital is crap and everyone in upper level management is crap and useless. Vince Sica DO BETTER! THIS HOSPITAL IS THE LAUGHING STOCK OF DESOTO COUNTY! UPDATE: My Aunt finally went to port Charlotte hospital. She has a fracture in her lumbar region of her back. Nice going DMH.

5 /5 Brandy Bemis: Just visiting with a friend. A very welcoming staff. Clean facilities. A Christmas Tree to add a little holiday cheer. A BEAUTIFUL sunset to add some warmth. Making something that is usually uneasy like being in a hospital, a little less dramatic and more scenic...

1 /5 Shericka Daniels: No WiFi, and writing everything manually. The nurses were calling people back to be triaged out of order. An elderly lady came from her doctors office because of her levels, and they had her in the waiting room for 2 hours. Theres no system in place, no one can answer questions, and no one knows whats going on. I just remembered why I travel to Port Charlotte for all my medical needs. This hospital needs to be closed down; they move at their own pace and have no sense of urgency in the emergency room. They only got one star because I have to choose one in order to write this post. Zero stars in my book...Do better!!

1 /5 Samantha Daniels: It is beyond me as a Healthcare worker to seat in the room of the ER for 3 hours to pee in a cup before X-ray. No initiative taking for me to get my plan of care completed until I stated I need to leave. But they answer was I maybe should of said I need to pee in a cup to my nurse. I would understand if the hospital was super busy and had the ambulance truck bringing patients in around the clock, but was not at this moment. The NP was nice and frustrated about it also, but staff instead of all the talking at the nurse station help a fellow co-worker out.
