1 /5 Chris Szczepanski: This is by far the most pitiful hospital I have ever stepped foot in!! There is absolutely no sense of urgency nor knowledge with the staff, it is virtually impossible to reach the person you are looking for. Do not waste your time playing phone tag with these people. I highly recommend anyone who needs the proper professional care to look elsewhere. This hospital is lucky a 1 star is the minimum you can leave for a review.

3 /5 James Millaway: Perspective is reality. 2-5 stars depending on where you stand… I’m a 4.4. I love the medical service I receive OCONUS. I was OCONUS for 28 years and then retired. Culture SHOCK. Returning to the States was a shock. I tried civilian medical and on base. TRICARE has changed or is not the same as OCONUS. JAX NAVHOSP is doing pretty good for the bureaucracy that is Humana. Dislikes: I have NEVER seen my PCM. I see interns that cannot prescribe medications or referrals. They make a list of issues and present them to an Attending Doctor. I assume the attending gets overwhelmed and the data gets lost. Also, the Pharmacy is… I’ve seen better. I haven’t had a bad experience yet but an elderly man next to me was waiting for 4 hours. As technology progresses, the medical system is leaving the Vietnam veterans behind. He was going to the counter and they were verbally kicking him in the “jimmy” because he was clueless. I could even help because he didn’t understand the system. Someone should have called his doctor or gently walked him to his PCM… damn. I should have done this. Today’s military is unsat uniforms and walking over trash without the integrity to pick it up. Integrity & empathy Will fix this place. Likes: They don’t do needles stuff. When I had a civilian PCM they did so much needles junk just to overcharge TRICARE. I would really like to see my assigned PCM one day. I am on month 2 of referrals and I have received 1 of 3. Remember. Perspective; I’ve been OCONUS Active and they step up.

1 /5 Al Toogs: The Pharmacy is the slowest ever, took them 46 minutes to get my medicine to me even though I was in uniform. what is the purpose of it? And this happened so many times. This department is one of the causes of my stress, my blood sugar is going up again. What a disappointment!

1 /5 Kris Carnes: My wife visited this hospital twice for medical issues and health concerns. Her third time needing to be seen she opted to go to civilian hospital which found out she had AML Leukemia. I absolutely recommend going to a civilian hospital if possible.

1 /5 Carrole-Ann Wilson: The appointment line is such a pain. Rude representatives don’t make you feel comfortable scheduling appointments and ask invasive questions that in my opinion and previous experience, don’t need to be asked.

North Florida Medical Center - Jacksonville Lashell Black: This place is amazing staff & all, Stan is a very motivating person with a great positive vibe.Rainey Hogan,she has a very good relationship with everyone and works very hard to take care of all her patients and customers. Every time I have had a question or concern she handles it immediately. It’s very hard to find a manager that is as passionate and as hard of a worker as she. Any ups and downs that may have occurred she has personally taken care of it and gone out of her way to help. I really recommend this facility.

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital - Orange Park Joey Orlaski: The staff at the hospital were great, they took care of my mom and her issue. The only thing kind of negative I guess was not once did I ever get to see any of the doctors that were on duty, and I dont believe that they would only come around once a day. Other than that everything was great, always clean, the staff and nurses were awesome. Thank you again for everything that was done. P.S. I do understand that the doctors are busy but it would have been nice to actually speak to one of them.

UF Health North - Jacksonville Lorena: This hospital lacks of good medical staff plain simple. If you are not white you will not be treated with dignity or any respect at all. I am from out of state and unfortunately have been anemic all my life. I wasn’t feeling well and I went into the emergency department for a blood transfusion and medication refill @ 11 am. The waiting room was pretty empty and they told me I had to wait for a room to be available. When I went in I was put in the hallway where I waited for about two hours before the doctor came to talk to me. I had came in with my kids and they didn’t let me bring them in with me. More people kept coming in and where place in rooms while I was kept waiting behind. My hemoglobin was below 5 and I needed that blood ASAP. The nurses kept lying to my face about not being able to help me get my kids to the hallway where I was, my kids were so worried and so was I. I was about to walk out when they finally decided to put me in a room. The main nurse decided to bring in a student as well and didn’t even bother to ask if I was ok with it. Then a guy came in the room started typing things in and didn’t even introduce himself or nothing while the student nurse tried to put my shirt up and the room door was open too. I had to say something at that time. The RN nurse then said that he was a doctor. No manners from him. I had the worst experience of my life! I know hospitals are not supposed to be a fun place but I strongly believe that if anyone decides to go into the medical field is because they care about helping people feel better and have compassion for others as well as respect and ethics, sympathy and honesty this hospital lacks of everything above and more. I ended up leaving this place @ 7pm feeling worse than when I came in. This hospital is full of Racist, unprofessional, unethical, rude medical staff and that’s a shame. This hospital doesn’t care about anyone that is not white! Shame on them!

Uf & Shands Jacksonville - Jacksonville Shaquasha Hood: The worst Hospital EVER! The 2 girls in the E.R that does the patient intake had bad attitudes, rude and unprofessional. They made jokes amongst each other and laughed in my face due to me getting a little irritated that Ive been there going on 10 hours and there where about 5 to 6 people that came in long after me that got seen before me. This hospital is a joke, I came to the E.R for chest pains, and been having migraines for over 3 weeks straight. I was there for 10 hours before a doctor seen me. The doctor was very unconcerned and dismissive. Then ordered to take my blood, which had nothing to do with why i was there. I left there feeling like they took me for a joke and I will NOT ever step foot in this sorry excuse for a hospital again.

Wolfson Childrens Hospital - Jacksonville Jace Rogers: We stopped at Wolfson Children’s Hospital on our way home to Georgia from Clermont to have our 7 week old tested for RSV as he had some symptoms and his breathing was labored. We were checked in at the ER, triaged and put in a room right away which was nice not having to wait in a waiting room where my baby could be exposed to other illness. A nurse was in shortly after to hook him up to monitors to watch his breathing and test him for RSV. While waiting for results the nurses and doctors kept checking in to see how my baby boy was doing and if we needed anything. After being given the positive result, we were admitted to monitor him overnight and all the staff and doctors were great helping monitor him and doing everything they can to help him get better even though there wasn’t much they could do as it’s a virus and has to run its course. I couldn’t be more grateful for the treatment we received at this hospital especially being from out of town not knowing what to expect and this being our first child. I highly recommend!!

Baptist Medical Center Clay - Fleming Island Preston Westmoreland: Olivia and the other nurse made all the blood draws and catheters painless. Half the reason I don’t see doctors is because of the pain involved. They saved my life and made it painless. The hospital beds are super comfortable. If you could choose your hospital and didn’t pick this one, you have a screw loose and they can’t fix it.

Immediate Medical Care - Jacksonville Sidney Voichahoske: Dr. Moosavi was very helpful in what I was going through mentally and physically. I was in and out quickly. But I’d like to say the front desk girl that was there when I was there, was VERY KIND AND HELPFUL. What I did not take kindly too was how she was treated here at this establishment. Me and my partner could hear Dr Moosavi berating and talking to this lovely girl like trash. All she was doing was asking questions, which she should be able to without being made to feel stupid. I forgot my water bottle and came back, when I came in to get it she was crying. There is no acceptable reason you should be making your employees cry. Especially making them feel bad in THEIR OWN WORKPLACE!!. You wouldn’t treat a patient like this, so don’t treat your staff like this. This broke my heart as someone that has been made to feel this way before in a work environment. DO BETTER!!!

Baptist Primary Care - Regency - Jacksonville Terrie Robbins: This was my first experience meeting Dr. Oum as my new primary care physician. I am overly sensitive to environment and meeting new people, but this experience put me at ease. I think its going to be a good fit for me. My previous physician transferred to a practice in St. Augustine. I loved her, but thats too far for me to travel for doctors visits.

UF Health | Womens Specialists - Jacksonville - Jacksonville Carrie: Accompanied son/girlfriend for first OB appointment. Have been a nurse for 36 years. Wasnt sure what to expect based on current google reviews, but I was impressed with all who we encountered from the check-in desk to nurse assistant/phlebotomist, coordinator, and nurse. All were professional, caring, and gave unhurried care. Thank you for giving us confidence that the baby will be in good hands.

Baptist Primary Care - St. Johns Bluff - Jacksonville Diana Plaaten: Dr Lindsay is a fantastic doctor who really takes her time and has a very holistic perspective on caring for ourselves. Special mention as well to medical assistant Pat who is the best sticker I’ve ever had and the only person I trust to draw my blood.
