2 /5 Nena Goodson: As someone who never leaves reviews, I felt I had to for DN nails. I recently moved to the Naples area and was looking for a go-to nail salon. DN nails had excellent reviews, so I decided to give them a try. I went in with builder gel on my nails, and needed the old polish removed and a new builder gel color put on. I was told on the phone when making my appointment this would cost $65. A little pricey, but its Naples so I understood.
This experience easily became one of the worst manicures I have ever received. My nails are uneven, misshapen, there is polish all in my cuticles, and the worst part is that they filed the side of my nails down to a point where they were raw and bleeding when I left the salon. Photos included. My nails are now incredibly painful and will likely take days to heal the damage that was done from the file. In addition to all of this, when I went to check out, I was told it was going to be $85, because of "take off", instead of the $65 I was told on the phone, even though I had previously mentioned having builder gel on when arriving. So not only did they do a terrible job and cause me literal pain but they also took advantage of me in terms of cost.
I understand that builder gel is a newer type of manicure. However, if you cannot do it PROPERLY then do not offer it to customers! As someone who has been getting consistent manicures every 2.5 weeks for the last several years, the condition of which they left my nails is honestly bizarre.
When trying to find a salon in Naples, please make a different choice. There are plenty of options to choose from.
