4 /5 Katherine Vanderbogart: Oh... We have used nothing but Dr. Dans since we moved to Vero Beach, almost four years ago. They got all of us through Covid; they understand if theres an emergency and you need to fit in somehow. But mostly theyre experts and caring with dogs and other animals. Their staff. Its courteous. The parking is good and the wait time is not bad. We would not go anywhere else. Pricing can be very high with veterinarians but I think Dr. Dan and partners understand and its not out the roof at all. It aint cheap but neither is the love of our dog, Gigi. Simply put.. I love these vets. Plenty of parking, clean inside, wonderful techs.

5 /5 george feiss: The team went waaaaaay beyond what was expected. Dr Dan has always been great. When we recently had a major health issue with our dog that required surgery. Dr Sarah was the one that came to the rescue. After our office visit she texted from her personal line answering questions and just checking up on our dog. Her follow up was due to her devotion to the animals and not just her job. Dr. Dan has a wonderful team even the front desk and vet techs show a true love for their job. Very Grateful that they are our vet.

Village Idiot: I’ve been to this hospital when I had my heart attack and they were great. My mom had a hip replacement there and they were great. Now my mom is here after a fall. They found blood clots and the staff has been great but when the ICU doctor Dr Garcia came by to talk to me this evening he got an attitude with me and said “ Are you kidding me bro?” When I politely stated that I didn’t get a lot of feedback from the staff today the way I did yesterday in the ER. I was really taken aback by his unprofessional response and defensive manor when I did not speak to him in an aggressive way what-so-over. All in all I’ve had great experiences in this hospital but that will leave a stain on my opinion of the facility which is the only reason I’m giving them a 4 instead of a 5. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this hospital should you find yourself needing one.

J M: While the PT was just ok, what was a real problem was their mishandling of my account and subsequent billing issues. After verifying my insurance BEFORE making my appointment and verifying my copay, apparently the office where I received PT neglected to share my insurance information with their billing department. After paying all my copays and ending my rehab, I received a large bill. I discovered then (from the billing department agent) that they had not received my insurance info. Strange, since I wasnt billed for all the services, only select ones. Attempting to get assistance from the office manager and explaining in detail via email, all I got was the number for the billing department to contact them again- NOT helpful and apparently couldnt care less. I would never return to this practice.

Elaine Summers: On hold for a ridiculously long amount of time (over 15 minutes) every time I call, office does not call back when messages left, waited 2 hours for my appointment and the doctor spoke with me for MAYBE 5 minutes during my appointment and did not examine me. He then scheduled not one but 2 procedures, cancelled/rescheduled them twice and then scheduled me for the exact time I said I could not be there. PLUS, the liquid prep the day before and nothing by mouth from midnight until after 3 pm the next day! Needless to say I cancelled everything and will not be returning.

Sue Bartlett: Almost killed my husband with his shoddy work. Blood was spewing, squirting out of my husband’s stomach from gall bladder surgery and he didn’t bother to attend to it. After surgery the opening kept filling with blood and even after we went home this doctor would not answer my phone calls and messages to tell him the horrible after effects with my husband spitting up blood and the wound bulging. A couple of weeks later,, my husband had to have an emergency surgery to repair what this doctor had done. Dr Jason Smith, an excellent doctor, performed the surgery, resulting in several procedures, cutting off inches of his intestines, and repaired a hernia the previous surgery caused, tubing out blood from his stomach for three days, and my husband still has horrible pain from an ulcer that is the result of the first surgery. Didn’t even bother to call me after I left messages telling him something was wrong. The worst experience we’ve ever had! I called four times, trying to make an emergency appointment but was just told the doctor would get my messages. I never heard back from him. Thank God for Dr Smith, who saved my husbands life….for awhile. For two years since, my husband has had terrible gastric distress, until June 19th, when he finally died. He could not eat and had lost much weight. He was taking meds for an ulcer the first surgery had caused. But now he’s dead! The response from Dr Macaranas is not true! He would not see my husband after the surgery even though I called several times. I kept a record of every call. His office would not return my calls although I was polite and just a loving wife. Now my husband is dead.
