Shipley Cardiothoracic Center - Fort Myers
Bob Gross: Amazing Drs and Staff..I owe my Life to them
Paul Mantell - Fort Myers
Dennis Solon: My wife and I have used Dr. Mantell for over 30 years. I can actually say with his coaching and advice he not only saved my life, but he has extended both of our lives. For him to retire was as painful as losing a very close friend. To replace him is to try and accomplish the impossible.
Tallahassee Memorial Urgent Care Center - Tallahassee
Tammy: ***Edit to add, he ended up having an intestinal blockage. I SPECIFICALLY instructed my son to ask the provider about this because he has a specific medical history & she denied his symptoms. Said his diagnosis was most likely a virus & that he had “trapped gas”. She should be FIRED!!! Incompetent provider that rushed through his visit. If this provider was smart, she would have not assumed this was the norovirus going around. This boy had all of the classic telltale symptoms of a blockage and she missed it!!!! Worst facility ever. I will never suggest this place to anyone. I sent my freshman son here yesterday because of severe stomach pains. The first thing they said to him is that they can’t do anything for him there. All they did was prescribe him meds. He needed IV fluids. And they did not run any test because apparently they don’t run tests there. They said, they “think” it’s a virus. The poor boy is sick as a dog, had to take an Uber to this urgent care. The care that he received was absolutely unacceptable. And what’s worse is that the front office did not give him an excuse letter from his college classes, even though he was told by the provider that he most likely has a highly contagious virus. He asked for an extension, the front staff told him “call back” if you’re sick and will adjust it. The only problem is, you guys don’t answer the telephone. And your voicemail is full. Awful, awful service provided here. Signed, a very upset parent that lives over 4 hours away and entrusted this place to care for her son. Now he is currently sitting in the ER receiving care. Thank you for nothing!!! Just a bunch of workers that don’t care about anyone & lack human decency.
HCA Florida Capital Primary Care - Capital Circle NE - Tallahassee
Henry Hernandez: Niya was a great help with my appointments. She was caring and went out of her way to get me the right appointment for me and my mom. She made my day. She gave me some hope that there are still people that care in this world. Dr. Waldenberger is great as always. Down to earth and goes out of his way to explain everything to me and takes care of my meds right away. The staff is very efficient and get me medication and help when I send them messages through the portal.
North Florida Medical - North Monroe - Tallahassee
Tabetha Martin Howard: The receptionist needs improvement. I called to inquire about making an appointment, and within four minutes, her attitude completely discouraged me from wanting to see the doctor. Medical care is too expensive to feel like I was calling a fast-food restaurant.
Southern Medical Group - Tallahassee
Julianna H: I can’t rate their primary care because I was never able to get an appointment with any of their doctors. When I first called, I sat on hold for 50 minutes, and when staff finally answered, they said I’d have to be put in as a new patient and that would take “10-15 days to process.” They said they’d reach out to schedule my appointment after they “transition to a new scheduling system.” No one in their office called me back. Three weeks went by and when I called again, after sitting on hold for 40 minutes, they told me that they were still processing my request to see if one of their doctors would be “willing to see me.” Again, they said they’d call me back. So they say they’re taking new patients and they accept my insurance, but they and their doctors can decide if they don’t want to provide care for you and just never schedule.
Dr. Hugh E. Vanlandingham, MD - Tallahassee
Linda Bryson: I started going to Dr. VanLandingham when he started his practice. I rarely needed to see him as I was healthy until I developed diabetes. The day before Thanksgiving 2024 I had an issue and saw the nurse practitioner. Because of her misdiagnosis I have had to have 1 emergency surgery and two follow up surgeries. If she had really looked at my issue it could have been avoided. It is March 2025 and I am still suffering and had 3 months of excruciating pain because she didn’t really look. I will have to have more surgery. I have changed physicians and was disheartened Dr, VanLandingham didn’t even bother to wonder or ask why a long term patient abruptly left .
E. Jonathan Perry IV, MD - Tallahassee
Lindsay Lee: I, quite frankly, have never had a better doctor than Dr. Perry. A lot of doctors are “five minute visit” doctors and/or don’t take patient concerns seriously. Dr. Perry not only listens and takes you seriously, but takes steps to address the issues. He is conscious of how much testing is done (aka money spent) and always make sure your questions are answered and concerns are addressed before you leave. The reception staff and nurses are incredibly nice and you can tell they genuinely like working there. They are very organized and always helpful. You can easily see how healthy and productive the work environment is. 100% recommend this doctor’s office!
Narlin Beaty M.D. - Tallahassee
Jimmy Keen: Dr. Beaty possesses unparalleled skill and dedication. His surgical expertise, combined with his cutting-edge knowledge and extensive specialized training, sets him apart as a truly exceptional physician. In my experience, and I believe in the experience of all his patients, his abilities are simply superior to any other neurosurgeon I have encountered, or even heard of, in the nation. What truly distinguishes Dr. Beaty is his unwavering focus on the individual patient. He meticulously tailors his approach to each unique circumstance, demonstrating a profound commitment to achieving the patients specific needs and goals. My own case presented complexities that were, frankly, off the charts—a challenge that would have daunted most surgeons. Yet, Dr. Beaty approached it with unwavering confidence and a remarkable level of personalized care. Beyond his extraordinary medical abilities, Dr. Beaty possesses a rare and invaluable quality: a genuine, compassionate heart. His kindness, attentiveness, and ability to connect with patients on a personal level create a truly inspiring and healing environment. He shows genuine care and concern, fostering a sense of trust and security that is essential during challenging medical journeys. I place my complete and absolute trust in Dr. Beaty. Without any reservation whatsoever, I recommend him to anyone seeking the very best in neurosurgical care. He is a beacon of hope and healing, and I am profoundly grateful for his expertise and dedication."
