5 /5 Gary Gomer: Dr. Fariss is one of those doctors you rarely see anymore. I had a Lithotripsy procedure done and was one of the few patients that got muscle spasms from the actual machine, which is very painful. When I first reached out to Dr. Fariss due to the pain, of course it was well after business hours and Dr. Fariss returned my call within minutes. He provided some very helpful ways to get through the pain, and then he called back after a few hours to make sure I was OK. That almost never happens now a days. He also called the next morning to make sure I was OK. Then on a Saturday night at 10:30pm I started to have pain again and called him, he called me right back again within minutes and had me try a few things which completely stopped the pain. Then he called back at 11:30pm to make sure I was good. Then on Sunday morning he called me to see if I was still OK, which I was fine at that point and he asked me if I wanted to come into the office today (on a Sunday) and he would remove the Stent (previously scheduled for Wednesday) so it would relieve my discomfort, which I jumped at the chance. It took days off my recovery. I know there are a lot of details in this review but only because Dr. Fariss went above and beyond so many times that most doctors would never do. I dont normally write reviews but Dr. Fariss is just such an amazing Doctor and Person who REALLY cares about his patients. For most people this procedure is a pretty quick recovery with very little pain but it is good to know that Dr. Fariss will be there for you should you have any unusual discomfort or Pain. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

He helped me through my first major medical disease and was able to quickly pinpoint the problem, do all the appropriate testing, and give us expert guidance on our options. He acted with a sense of urgency, and has tremendous expertise. We’re very pleased he and his staff were able to help us, not sure how things would have turned out with another urologist...

1 /5 alice weingarten: The office manager and I had a bit of an argument about my insurance and one question, she was given miss information as well as requested that I came into the office again to ask the doctor a simple question about how long it would take before I could return to work. This was upsetting because when we scheduled the surgery she asked me to assist with the insurance and would call with the answer about when I could return to work. Long story short, she canceled my surgery, I couldnt believe it, gave me no where to go, left me in serve pain and discomfort with no referral, just told to go to the emergency room!!! I then had to drive 170 miles to fine another doctor in Miami. I live on a small island of Key West and we only have 1 urologist and they know that. I had the doctor I found request my pre-op labs so they wouldnt have to be done again, they had a cancelation and could fit me right in only to find out they had shredded some of my labs. I have never hear of anything like this
