4 /5 Chrissy Coleman: Mom & Dad are snowbirds, and Mom was having a medical emergency while we were visiting, and we took her to the ER. It was a very good experience. Quick, attentive, good communication. Hospital admittance was necessary, and she was there for a few days. She very much liked each doctor, specialist and physical therapist that assisted her. Special shout-out to nephrology and podiatry. Her nurses were very kind and attentive, and put her at ease in every way. Everyone was in good communication with her. Can you believe she loved the food?! Our only complaint was we could have used a social workers guidance to help us with what came after release. This part wasnt clear, and since none of us are actual residents of the area, we needed guidance. They said it was "time to vacate the bed," but Mom was still immobile, needed a rehab center, and we didnt receive lead-time to arrange it. So we had to do some self-advocating, but once all parties aligned and the rehab center was set up, she is safely recovering there now. We are grateful for the care she received at HCA.
