1 /5 Timothy G: Went into the ER , and They are less interested in patient care and more concerned with making their money. Patient care is bottom of the totem pole for them, and they make people wait hours to be seen. We finally got seen after an hour, and it was a very impatient screening. The nurse that saw us was kind enough, but dismissed us as a non-emergent case. I love Baptist health in the past, but they’ve lost my respect for this visit.

1 /5 Jeffrey Golliver: On 6 March, I went to the Gulf Breeze ER for severe pains on my left side. The Nurse Practitioner ordered a CT and the results showed I had an 8mm Kidney Stone. At 8mm I would not pass the stone so the Nurse wrote a referral to a Urologist and a gave me a script for pain (hydro/actm) and sent me home. Friday morning (7 March) I called the Pensacola Urology department. I was scheduled for a initial consultation on Tuesday (11 March) after the consultation they will then schedule a the procedure to breakup the stone. I am in as much pain as I was when I went to the ER. There is no way I can deal with the pain until Tuesday let alone the procedure a few days later. I STILL have an 8mm Kidney Stone in me! I was told by the Urologist scheduler that if the pain is still the same go directly to the Pensacola Hospital ER where they can contact to on-call Urologist for consultation. I DONT need consultation, I need to have the Procedure. I dont understand why the Nurse Practitioner sent me home with pain killers when the Stone is still there and causing the same amount of pain! Help! Part 2: Before driving an hour to Baptist Pensacola ER, I called to speak with an ER employee (Wyatt) to ensure if I went to the ER something besides more meds would take place as the staff told me they have a Urologist on call 24/7. Wyatt suggested I come to the ER for main meds and they would consult with the Urologist if needed. He said I should have be given an anti inflammatory during my first ER visit. He said they could provide but I would need to be re-diagnosed! He also confirmed that most likely no procedure would take place until next week. I dont need to be re-diagnosed, I need to be treated for the stone! So, still in pain with no help in site until next Tuesday and beyond. I have NEVER had any problems with Baptist or their staff but something is not right with my treatment.

1 /5 Jan Staelens: Im in ER now with my husband. Its been 4hrs. They havent been in to check on him in over an hour. They havent come in for his CT Scan either. He is in alot of pain. This is the worst service for someone that is told to go to the ER for immediate attention by their Dr. ROUND 2: They finally got all the tests done and wanted to make sure he could potty without blood. Discharge nurse came in and asked us to sign discharge papers now so we wouldnt be waiting on her so we did. But were told we could leave when the bathroom was successful and without incident. Then the floor Manager, Barbara came in 25mins later and said we were discharged and no further treatment would take place and we needed to leave. For 4hrs they did nothing, then it was urgent that we leave. She was do rude about I was mortified. Didnt ask us if we needed help or if he was feeling well. NOTHING. She said if we felt like additional help was needed we could wait in the ER waiting room and start the process again! If my husband bleeds out tonight because of this poor treatment. Well I wont put it writing. Dont go to this ER!

5 /5 William Lamore: After calling Baptist back I am happy to say that their customer service exceeds all expectations. I had previously had a really bad month followed by a really bad day. I let my mouth get the best of me and because of that they had a let me off the phone. I called them back today to request medical records and I was kindly greeted by Ali. She assured me that no matter what happened they are committed to my care. It is a rare thing to be forgiven for a wrong. It is a whole different level when the people you offended forgive and offer help and care.
