She is thorough, patient,intelligent, friendly and has properly diagnosed every problem we have brought her. In my 80 years she stands out as the best PCP I have encountered. 1 /5 denise lee: I was a patient of Dr Marrese for 20 years. He was a excellent doctor. Always up beat, smiling and understanding. He knew my medical conditions and knew what I could tolerate as far as medications due to being very sensitive. He knew my daily struggles. I saw his replacement Aubrey Schock and I was not impressed at all. There is no comparison. I even called the office after my 1 and only appointment to see if I could change doctors. The office staff said "No" you cant switch doctors you will need to find someone else outside the practice.They could care less about you being a patient for 20 years. I even left a few messages for office Manager & she never called back and was never available. You should have a choice to switch to another doctor within same office if your not happy. I made the appointment after Dr Marrese was gone & had no idea who he was until I went there. Halifax should have known they had Big Shoes to fill replacing Dr Marrese. Im sure they have lost other patients that feel the same way. My 1 visit with him Im not even sure he looked at my history.Its been an experience..

1 /5 Judy: I’m a new patient of this office. They have spent a little bit of time with me. I went over all that is bothering me. I have antiphospholipid syndrome I have lupus and other medical issues. These issues caused me to have brain strokes they caused me to have severe pain in my muscles in my knuckles in every and all areas of my body. I’m losing my hair my nails will not grow they keep chipping off there’s many more that I went over with this doctors office they did absolutely not one thing but lab work. I called them yesterday was hung up on and then I called again and was brought to the voicemail. I explained to them that I was having neck pain and in my shoulder blade numbness in my left hand and tingling in my left hand and light chest pain and I still at this time have not got a return call. I’ve tried to set up another appointment they can’t see me for another three months. I would not go back to this office if my life depended on it!!! I have been in the medical field for well over 25 years I have never in my life have been treated this poorly by a physician and their staff. If you go to this doctor ask them why did they become a physician it’s definitely not for empathy or helping now it’s Finacial they want your money

1 /5 Heidi Causey: Dr. Shock doesnt even deserve 1 star. He is the worst doctor Ive ever met. Hes very rude and doesnt want to hear how you feel. Ive been a patient with Dr. Marrese about 25 yrs and never had any problems. In 1 visit with Dr. Shock changed all my medications. He prescibed medication that I told him I could not take. Against my better judgement I took the new meds. After 1 week of taking the meds I started having reactions such as itching, not wanting to get out of bed and suicidal thoughts. I went back and told Dr. Shock the issues and again he was very rude and wrote me prescriptions for my old meds and told me to take as many as I wanted and when I ran out that was my problem. He also told me to find a new Doctor. I called Halifax Health and they said they would talk to him. I want to warn people of his negligence. No one should have to be treated this way. You should be able to trust your Doctor...like Dr. Marrese.

1 /5 Cherie Armstrong: I was a first time patient and the office staff was l very pleasant. Saw the doctor and she was supposed to fax in my mail order prescriptions. When I called my pharmacy she did not do it. I called the office and waited over 25 minutes for customer service to only tell me she would have to send a message to the doctor. Waited two days called my pharmacy and they never received the prescription. Called the office back, and changed it to a local pharmacy as I only had two pills left. Called the local pharmacy 24 hours later and they had not received the prescription. Called the dr office back, waited another 25 minutes on the phone only to be told that there was nothing they could do until the doctor answered her email. I am changing doctors and facility. This run around with the interns that they have working there is not working for me! Good bye, Halifax Health.
