Broward Health Medical Center - Fort Lauderdale
Wayneisha Lewis: LABOR AND DELIVERY I will never have another child but if ever my mind changed, I will ONLY choose BROWARD HEALTH MEDICAL CENTER FORT LAUDERDALE. I hate hospitals, always avoid them for every reason possible until I had to deliver a baby and I chose them and I will ALWAYS choose them. The experience is 10/10 subtract nothing and add everything. Clean, friendly, professional, jovial, and everything positive. I had a spontaneous csection and EVERY SINGLE PERSON made me feel safe and secure. They held my hand as long as they could and made sure I was ok and reassured me even when I have doubts, that it will all be ok because I have the best. The staff believes Im their surgeons and it brings comfort. My baby boy is in the nicu for small complications but even as small as they are they treat them like the are major and he is attend to carefully and frequently. I am in love. Even my guests, agree with me. Everyone loves this place. It doesnt feel like a hospital but more like a hotel and part of me does not want to go home Lol Choose BHMC
HCA Florida University Hospital - Davie
Maricela luna: Had a great experience at this hospital. Clean, organized, no waiting time. Nurses & paramedics were great! Dr.Javier Talamo is an AMAZING doctor. He has patience, explains in details and thinks of every possible test that can be done to identify your diagnosis. We need more doctors like him. Thank you HCA staff so much for your hard work and for a smooth visit.
Kindred Hospital South Florida - Ft. Lauderdale - Fort Lauderdale
D Taylor: Don’t know what to think. Every time I walk in to visit my father the ā€œfront desk guy or security guyā€ has his cell phone and TV blaring videos he’s watching. He doesn’t make any attempt to turn them down or seem to care. He seems bothered. That always puts an uncomfortable feeling inside me that I have my father at the wrong place. He’s nice for the most part. My father went backwards after being moved there. I don’t know why. The nurses are great. My father Hasn’t gotten any better in the last week. The practitioner named Elizabeth was very helpful in answering my and my mom’s Questions. Jimmy, the custodian was very gracious and very kind. He went out of his way to help my mother get inside and was very friendly and helpful to me. The kindred Hospital has been very helpful. I hope my dad gets better. I just wished there was a better game plan
Memorial Regional Hospital - Hollywood
audrey denson: After some time in the ER I was sent to an overflow ER with paper walls, no inside bathroom or shower for 3 days. Women’s bathroom outside the auditorium and two halls. They call it CDU. This hospital has fallen so low. They make millions a day and cannot put in proper partitions and make this 20 space auditorium livable. It’s all broken. A complete mess. You use a bell to call a nurse. Like it’s 1950. They should be ashamed. Update: there was a lot of concern expressed by hospital management and they closed down this space. I was impressed with their response.
Salah Foundation Childrens Hospital - Fort Lauderdale
Jacquelyn Neeson: I delivered both of my children here and have visited the children’s ER 5 times. Some visits were true emergencies. Some were minor visits because it was the weekend and we couldn’t go to their regular pediatrician. We have received excellent care every single time. All the staff I have encountered have been professional, experienced and wonderful! Each visit I was made to feel like my children were in the absolute best hands. On one occasion my son had broken his arm and got immediate and excellent care. They even set his arm there instead of having us wait to go to the orthopedic surgeon the next day which helped his healing process. In another occasion my daughter arrived in DKA and was immediately diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I’m forever grateful the staff was so reassuring to me during one of the scariest moments of my life. My daughter spent a couple days in the PICU and subsequently in the pediatric recovery ward. Every experience was exemplary. I’m so grateful to have this pediatric hospital so close by.
HCA East Florida Division - Fort Lauderdale
Carol Tamayo: ā€œI’ve been trying to speak with the individual handling the account for Atlantic Outpatient Center since 11/4, but 24 hours later, I’m still getting the same response every time I call: ā€˜The representative is on the phone with the insurance company.’ It’s hard to believe that they can’t spare five minutes to return a patient’s call. Imagine if I didn’t pay my co-pays; this facility would probably send my account to collections without delay. When my call was finally escalated to a supervisor named Jaime, he initially had an attitude, acting as if he couldn’t be bothered. After ten minutes on the phone, I was finally informed that I had no financial responsibility. Why couldn’t they call to tell me that earlier? This kind of service is unacceptable. Employers need to stop hiring people who lack the empathy and professionalism to treat patients with respect. If this is the standard of care, I’d rather take my business elsewhere.
North Broward Hospital District - Fort Lauderdale
Anne Maraj: I am quite satisfied with the service from the therapist , Anna,Marie and Gesner and the staff, especially secretary Edna.
Broward Health Medical Center Emergency Room - Fort Lauderdale
Leanne Channey: We came to Broward Health Medical Center because my husband was experiencing very unusual chest pains. They were not going away after several hours. The emergency room was pretty full. There were others having heart attacks, hernia problems, and various other sicknesses. They immediately took my husband for an EKG, then an X-ray. We got to speak with a nurse who took blood. They are going to keep him overnight. Doctor Tyler Haertlein, "Ty" for short, really helped us to understand the potential things that may need to be added to our visit... depending on the results of the tests being done. He really removed a lot of my fear and uncertainty with this emergency care. When you need help, its really nice to know that places exist for you.
Riverland Medical Centers Inc. - Fort Lauderdale
Sadie Howell: Hands down the best primary physician I ever been too! Everyone in the office is so knowledgeable and helpful! Even after hours, they do their best to accommodate you! Really makes you feel like you’re not alone in the world, I don’t feel like just another patient! The wait times are not long at all, they counsel and support you through it all. I’ve had 2 surgeries and each time they going to bat for me to make sure that I’m situated and being treated professionally! Words can’t describe the kind of care they give, it’s more like a really good feeling!! I’ve been going there for 10 years and will be going another 10 more!!
Broward Health Physician Group - Fort Lauderdale
Kate Horne: Shocking. We waited 3 hours as my friend was electrocuted. And we had no help. We then decided to go to another hospital. He was in a lot of pain and was passing out.
