5 /5 Jack Barwick sr: Before I went to the facility, I thought I would check the reviews to see what I was in for. Some (reviews ) were critical and a few were downright mean. I had to schedule a water test for the V.A. and it has to be done by an official of the health department. I arrived at the front desk and was greeted by a very pleasant young lady who directed me to Environmental Health. So far, so good. No ambushes, no unfriendly faces. I met another young lady who was relatively new to the job, but she handled things like a pro. She called a young man for assistance and the two of them had me taken care of in short order. I left the Jackson County Health Department feeling satisfied and pleased to have met employees there who cared about helping a fellow Jackson County resident.
