1 /5 Laura Amwake: Worst experience! Went for total new style in October 2024. Got a wolf cut. Came out perfect. Xmas 2024 went for a trim. Stylist didnt cut much and left to much length. Totally new style. Valentine 2025 weekend went for a cut , same wolf cut and stylist didnt ask any questions. Did a dry cut. Reminded stylist I have a wolf cut and length should be to my shoulders. It looks horrible! I used the same stylist every time. I feel the stylist needs to stop talking so much, pay attention and ask client questions. Its questionable if the stylist is capable of doing simple repeat styles. I even have pictures of the style I wanted and had. It is quite apparent that JCP does not require stylist to continue their education. I dont recommend going here. Would not give any stars.

5 /5 Madeline Wong: Amber is the best. Every time I come in she makes magic happen in my hair. She is always incredibly gentle and very knowledgeable, and goes out of her way to explain what shes doing and makes the entire process extremely comfortable. As a Chinese woman, my hair is a little coarser and harder to put color into, but she got my hair so vivid and its still extremely soft. Thank you so much Amber! I get so many compliments on my hair and cant recommend her enough.

1 /5 Cecilia Wade: I called up there to ask a simple question, calmy, politely asking if a hair edge/bang job was still free, or not since I havent been here in a year, and the girl got a rude/cocky attitude with me, and was like "The edge is not free" in a rude tone, and then I asked the price, and the girl was like "I dont know gosh" and just for that I will not go back to this Hair Salon again, and sadly Ive been going here since 2001 @ age 11, and now Im 35; The girl is lucky Im in business, and professional, or I would of chewed her out...I refuse to do business with a company who has rude people working for them, and being rude to loyal customers...

5 /5 Mish Berman: Amber did a wonderful job with this cut and color. I showed her a picture of the style I wanted and then let her do however she wanted with the color and it came out amazing!! I usually color my hair myself due to previous bad experiences at other salons but she really made me feel comfortable and I’m so glad she cut my hair. Will definitely be seeing her again!

Zander Eyjolfsson: Hands down the place to go for a high quality cut around the Lake City area. The atmosphere is great and truly feels like a 5 star experience. I personally get my hair faded on the sides and scissor cut on the top and it is always done just as asked!

Charles E. Apple Jr: I purchased a small used mower from them. They said that they had fixed it for another customer, but that custmer never picked it up. Key phrase, they said that they fixed it. I paid over 100.00 for it. I used it once a week or so later to cut my sisters yard. It cut fine for a few minutes. It then started sputtering and pouring out black smoke. I let it cool down and tried it again. It work ok for a few minutes. But then started sputtering and pouring out black smoke again. I kept letting it cool off so i could try to finish the small yard. I realized that the piston rings were worn out and allowing the oil to leak into the cylinder and burn when the engine got hot. I took the mower back to Hairs. They told me it was an "as is " purchase, which I was not told when I purchased it. They would not refund my purchase price. They neither offered to look at it and fix it to stand by their work and product. So I lost over 100.00 on a bad mower I used once and they would not stand by their work. To me that was almost dishonest the way they handled it. I will never use them again and I dont recommend them to anyone else. They are not customer friendly and do not stand by their work.

Maureen Cribbs: I showed pictures of what I wanted. And in not even one of the pics are the ears showing. My ears are cut around. It’s waaaaay shorter than what I asked for. I won’t be returning. It looks awful. I may have to get a wig. That’s how ridiculously short it is. It’s embarrassing. I’m completely dissatisfied and furious. It’s going to take six months or more for me to be able to do anything with it. In the meantime I have to walk around looking very butch. Not the look I was going for.

The Cutting Edge was recommended by a friend and I made an appointment with Blanca. I only wanted a trim and she did exactly what I asked. Three weeks later I decided I wanted to go much shorter and again Blanca cut as I asked. I really like my cut- a little extreme for me- but I am glad Blanca did such a good job!
