4 /5 Roger Berto: In the autumn of 2021, my mother broke her hip in a fall. Dr. Miller first operated on my mother’s leg and left a leaky surgical opening. The opening was leaking pus. After a surgery at Lakeland Regional Hospital, my mom was finally fitted with a metal implant by Dr. Mario John. That operation gave her some mobility at 73 years of age.
